23.01.2022 Archaeologists have unearthed two 500-year-old skeletons of a woman and child underneath the Tower of London's chapel. The Chapel Royal of St. Peter ad Vincula is known as the burial place for famous Tower prisoners, including three queens of England: Anne Boleyn, Catherine Howard and Jane Grey.



21.01.2022 'The Road to Palmyra' is a new special exhibition at the Glyptoteket devoted to the culture of ancient Palmyra an oasis city located in present-day Syria. This exhibition takes the Glyptotek’s incredible collection of ancient Palmyrene tomb sculptures as its point of departure and an interpretive volume accompanying the exhibition is out now, including a chapter by Macquarie University's Dr Peter Edwell.
