RMIT University In 2020, RMIT Culture instigated digital work-integrated learning (WIL) placements, so students could continue to complete internships during the pandemic. The Student Engagement Program provides opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate RMIT students. Volunteer staff at the Lakes Entrance Historical Society (LHS) Lakes Entrance History Centre in Lakes Entrance, assisting with the digitisation of collection items in late March 2021 (picture features volunteers observing the setup of a rare collection of solid bronze Imperial Measures from the Customs and Excise department, where traders products were regularly measured to avoid 'under-selling' to customers). Image 2. Volunteer staff at the East Gippsland Historical Society (EGHS) in Bairnsdale, laying out a fragile 1800s wedding dress for digitisation in early May 2021.

Working in partnership with Creative Victoria, we have received funding to go towards employment opportunities across regional Victoria, and metro Melbourne.
