21.01.2022 Mt Isa never fails to impress. This region has hit the nail on the head re repair and maintenance. This is our 5th trip out, it seems like almost every instrument that gets played comes to us for service. At first SO many needed repad, major service or retiring however over the years this has slowly reduced. Now those instruments are in the minority, it’s amazing! ... So gratifying to see that regular service and repair actually makes a huge difference to the quality of instrument students have the privilege to play on. A huge thank you to Susanne Pattison and Amie Callahan for sticking to their guns in relation to service and repair. It truely is the cheapest way to prolong the playing life of any instrument
