22.01.2022 Christmas concerts next week. Can you imagine these little ones playing solo and then together?
22.01.2022 3 years of teaching children has taught me this. Music is inherent in us and we need to express it. Every child can be taught to play a musical instrument. Some are quick learners and others need lots of patience on the part of the teacher and the parents. The parents are often more impatient than the child. Pressurising the child does not help and each child learns at his/her own pace.
18.01.2022 Getting the kids ready for their year-end guitar and piano concerts. Trying to get groups of primary kids to play correctly AND in time! Surprisingly it happens with practice while parents think it's a miracle!
13.01.2022 Phew! Just finished all the Open day concerts at 6 schools last week. The kids were amazing!
06.01.2022 It's nice to be back at the schools and see the bubbly excitement of the kids! especially the new ones from prep and yr 1. I also miss the ones who I taught for 3 years and have now moved on to yr 7 or to other schools! It's amazing to see how they grow and progress!
