24.01.2022 The 21st Flinders Secondary Music Camp is well and truly underway with 185 students rehearsing for nearly 8 hours since Friday evening. Tonight, they will participate in dancing activities and tomorrow morning they will present their first concert for 2020.

24.01.2022 A musical snippet from last Saturday night at the Annual Sounds of Summer Concert. It was wonderful to have 41 past band members join the current ensemble to perform Red Rock Mountain by Rossano Galante. This is one of the favourites of the bands repertoire.

19.01.2022 Congratulations to the College Band members and their conductor Mr John Thomas for achieving a Gold award at the Prestige Music Fest last night held at Iona College in Brisbane. Nearly 100 members traveled down to perform and enjoy some social time on the way home. #flindersmusic #proudtobeflinders

18.01.2022 On Sunday afternoon our Stage Band, Saxophone and Trombone Quartet entertained in the gardens of Cassells Chartered Accountants for a 4556 Chamber of Commerce event. It was an enjoyable afternoon, catered by John Kyle Espresso, for the ensembles final performance for the year.

18.01.2022 During the holidays outstanding musicians from across the state participated in the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University Ensemble Program. 20 students attended the State Honours Ensemble Program and four were selected from their auditions for the Australian Honours Ensemble Program. The students enjoyed their time rehearsing with Australian and International conductors and finishing with performances.

15.01.2022 Last Saturday night was our 21st Annual Sounds of Summer Concert for the Wind Symphony. The concert allows students to showcase the variety of repertoire learnt throughout the year. The band performances were complemented with performances from the Year 6 Woodwind, Percussion and Saxophone Ensembles. Our Year 12 students were also thanked for their contribution to the band program. #flindersmusic

14.01.2022 The Year 4 Brass and Woodwind Enrichment Program held their concert today for the parents. The students performed well and are ready to join the Flinders Band. Congratulations!
