25.01.2022 Happy Birthday to Verandah Music. 13 years yesterday. Doesn't time fly Seems like only yesterday Verandah was started by Jack and Ronnie and Bill and I have been running it for seven years with help of our lovely wives. Let's hope that we can continue after all this virus happening is done and dusted although I feel things may be a lot different in the future and more difficult due to hygiene standards until a cure is found but even then people may still be wary of too close ...contact in clubs. Take care out there and keep the music going Cheers See more

18.01.2022 Some of the murals we saw at Yarram They are terrific. I think there are about ten around Yarram. You have a map and do a mural hunt.

15.01.2022 Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful Mums out there from Verandah Music I hope everyone is still sane and well

13.01.2022 Some more of our verandah concert at Pam's Sister and Husbands cattle and sheep Property that they are on. This was in January after Gigarrie on the verandah of the old church building that was moved to the property

12.01.2022 Hi all Some considerations when we eventually get to reopen our clubs again Microphones, artists will have to supply their own covers Guitar leads wiped over after each use or one person responsible to plug everyone in No crowding on stage... Hand sanitizer after each operation Face masks? Food availability, bring your own? No self serve Spacing apart Disinfection through venue? Paying in cash? Number of audience to artists, could be a case of artists playing to artists Supply of wipes? I wonder how many people think of the responsibility that club committees will have to keep everyone safe, is it possible? Keep safe See more

12.01.2022 Hi all Another lock down week over, two and half to go. The year is disappearing so fast and we can't wind the clock back much as we would like to My caravan feels neglected, my car still has a full tank, house is painted, garden dug and planted, workshop cleaned, lawns mowed, trees pruned...... I'm tired already!! My wife and I are playing lots of music, entertaining the neighbours and their dogs!... My boat feels unloved but the fish are safe not that I caught that much anyway! All we can do is battle on regardless of the unusual circumstances we are experiencing, nothing like this since my experiences during the war in England when I was a boy. Be careful this isn't the start of a new era! Look after yourselves out there and keep your strings tight! Cheers See more

11.01.2022 Take one Ha Ha Flies again!!!

08.01.2022 Hi Verandah Fans We visited Pam's Sister and her Husband on a sheep/cattle property after Gigarrie and played on the Verandah. So here is bit of Verandah Music! Hope you are all well out there. By the way the flies were annoying us as well!

03.01.2022 Hi all How are you doing out there? What a shamble with the handling of this virus in Victoria. We decided we had enough of the double standards that was happening and cleared out to NSW for a week at Eden on the coast and isolated at Wonboyn Lake, a beautiful spot away from everything and got lost with oysters, parrots and solitude. No restrictions! We then came back to Woodside on the nighty mile beach for eight days again in solitude peace and quiet away from all the rubbi...sh that is going on. What a shame we are home now and arrive to find out that half of Melbourne is locked up! Back to reality!! We played a lot of music while we were away which helped keep us sane! I personally don't see much change happening any time soon with this virus and anything on the horizon as to if and when we will be able to get together again. Just keep safe and keep the music going See more
