22.01.2022 *Language warning: Explicit lyrics in song* Here is my entry for "SONG COMP for Brunswick". Chosen theme: The whole Corona Virus experience. This song came into my head as I sat staring at my keyboard a few weeks into isolation (due to the Corona Virus). My mood was low. The thought of having an unknown expanse of time in front of me had me a little scared. I felt as if the universe had spoken directly to me and said "look Cherie, now you have all this extra time. Now you MU...ST be productive. DO something." As I sat there trying to conjure the will to create, I noticed that every phone call "checking in" or any sounds of joy and laughter outside grated at my every nerve. I didn't want to talk. I didn't want to create. I wanted to run away, or at least let my mind drift off in a smokey haze and disconnect for the entirety of isolation. However, I knew what demons would surface if I made that choice. See more
20.01.2022 MORGANA ON THE HUNT FOR BAND! Having released my first single in Sydney as a solo artist, I’m back in the culture-capital and ready to PUT A SICK BAND TOGETHER!! Myself and my guitarist are currently seeking talented, passionate individuals (who love good craic) to form a show-ready band to take audiences on a journey. With a list of originals ready to bring to life, our brand of pop-rock (think a mix of Meg Mac, Missy Higgins, Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Rosalia) is itchin...g to be brought to stages around Oz and beyond!
