22.01.2022 Big congratulations to local artist @kaurnacronin, Adelaide's representative on @globalmusicmatch - a program of events around the globe to promote artists in new territories, grow audiences and connect musicians globally. Created to continue raising the profile of local artists in international markets amidst the challenging parameters of the COVID 19 pandemic, GMM aims to develop new audience bases for artists in a range of international locations, providing a groundwork for future international touring development. Each week, one band/musician from each country will introduce another artist from a different country, engaging with them on social media to cross promote to their audiences.

18.01.2022 An additional $10m in funding has been announced by the Australian Government through the Office for the Arts to enable Support Act to extend its crisis relief grants to all genres of artists, crew and music workers in need over the next few critical months. Support Act has announced a new category of crisis relief funding called MusicKeeper and CrewKeeper available from 29 March, which are designed to help cushion the blow occasioned by the end of Jobkeeper payments. 04.01.2022 FUNDING OPPORTUNITY - First Nations artists are encouraged to apply for one of five recording grants, available to fund new recordings. Available as part of the ARIA PPCA Australia Council First Nations Sound Recording Partnership, the grants each provide $18,500, and provide access to industry professionals to advise and help the grantees develop an effective release strategy for their recording project.
