25.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE During these very uncertain and sad times we are all faced with firstly to the families that are in the process of planning a service for their loved one you are in our thoughts and prayers this is not easy at the best of times, losing a loved one is hard enough without the restrictions we are all facing. Here at Music For Funerals we will still continue to support the Funeral Industry including the Funeral Directors, Funeral Companies and their families they... are caring for during this time. We are working very hard at the moment with options that will still support these families through the comfort Music has to offer during this time but still within the current government guidelines with the reduced numbers on services. To the Funeral Directors we work with, thank you for all you do and are doing during this time, you are all incredible people. To the Priests/Celebrants and Clergy and Pastoral Teams we work with thank you for your leadership and the way in which youve all navigated through these waters with your families with care and compassion. 25.01.2022 People often ask us "how are you able to sing or play at a funeral?" Firstly, we are very privileged to do what we do. Secondly, we meet so many beautiful families and hear the stories of love, commitment and sacrifice. Thirdly, we believe that the gift of music we are blessed with, will help make a difference to that grieving family on that difficult day. We thank you all for continuing to trust us and allowing us to walk with you and your family at this time.

We listened to some beautiful stories and our favourite story was this; "Mum had a barrel that was always filled with cookies and sweets we loved...that barrel has been used for three generations! Everyone knew where it was and we all helped ourselves to it.." Beautiful memories of a life well lived. Rest in peace.
