21.01.2022 Our DSWA musicians were so much fun over the past three days, rehearsing and recording their favourite songs! We cant wait to hear the final cut on all three tunes! A big thank you to Nikki and Suzanna from DSWA for making it so much fun and seeing 6 hours each day fly by so quickly - such a big achievement! Well done Wil, Harry, Ella, Ava, Jacey, Chiara, Sofia, Annabelle, Tabitha, Mitchell and Taj :)

Ben like all our EDs is not just busy with 120+ online lessons each week at the moment but with collaboration around the world! 16.01.2022 Northern Pictures have sought out Music Rocks to possibly find some interested people... Season 2 is coming to W.A. and I wonder if any of my friends with Autism or anyone who is single, not on the spectrum but open to dating someone who is, might be keen... and its now on Netflix! I cant vouch for how people were treated making Season 1, but I can vouch for how entertaining it was and how much we all fell in love with each of the participants. I watched this series in lockdown and I have to admit that the tall guy in the picture on the right made a cocktail on one of the episodes that I copied and drank happily during our time in lockdown... and quite consistently since! Its easy with the Zoom app, screen sharing, music, audio, documents and manuscript - writing on the screen. So much fun and a great way to keep things going for our kids especially if they are home during this difficult time. It is for everyone, all our musicians!

14.01.2022 What a triumph it was, even with COVID19 restrictions for our Music Rocks the Mo, Evie & Otis Maslin Foundation Band to donate $1,122.00 to the Foundation in the first half of this year. It is testimony to how wonderful our musicians are from the Dekens, McCarthy, De Cotta and Hamilton families! 14.01.2022 We do know that anytime Dean gets a chance to play some EVH at a concert it really is his favourite thing... Here is Dean's EVH Beat It solo from 2011 and the first version of the Blue Door Band at Music Rocks the Civic. He has promised some more Van Halen in December in honour of the great man... our heroes are human :(

01.01.2022 Music Rocks Badlands Concert Day 1 would have been today :( Here is Connie Chapman with some of our Music Rocks EDs enjoying themselves to the maximum from last years Badlands concert in September with a Lily Allen banger :) Performing is everything and today would have seen more than 400+ musicians take to the stage. We cant wait for later in the year when this all happens again for real, especially with so many honing their skills online with virtual Music Rocks lessons :)
