24.01.2022 Introducing 17 year old singer songwriter Tilly Tjala Thomas who will be playing at Treaty tomorrow! Tilly commenced performing her original music in 2014, busking at the Willunga Farmers Market. Shortly after her first busking session Tilly was invited to perform at a range of music and cultural events, and has since performed at some of South Australia’s premier events including the Adelaide Fringe Festival Garden of Unearthly Delights, the Desert Fringe prior to Archie Ro...ach’s performance, Survival Day, and the increasingly popular Stone Pony folk sessions. Tilly is inspired by her Nukunu culture and her music is driven by folk, country and indie pop. She has been mentored by Memphis LK in 2020 and is keen to soon share music from this mentorship. Writing strong and melodic songs that provide insight into human emotion and alert audiences of pressing world issues, and those particularly important to youth, is one of her goals. See more
