Sonny's compositions such as 'T...-rex hungry' and 'Jive Turkey' amongst many others included in our piano syllabuses are always popular amongst exam candidates. But now it is been written by two musicians: one who knew Holland and had the opportunity to discuss her music with her; and one who has come to know Dulcie Holland from playing many of her remarkable compositions. Fortunately, there are detailed interviews available, giving a very good insight into Holland’s thought processes and providing an absolute wealth of information.

03.01.2022 We are very saddened by the loss of Nancy Bachus, internationally acclaimed teacher and pedagogue. In addition to contributing many articles to the magazine, Na...ncy served as an Associate Editor for Keyboard Companion heading up the Repertoire Department beginning in 2005. She continued as an Associate Editor for Clavier Companion then joined the editorial review board for Piano Magazine in January 2019.
