24.01.2022 We’ve got big news! Muslimcare is now an approved provider of the Australian Government EAPA Scheme This means we can help support our clients in ways we never could before! The Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) Scheme provides energy vouchers to eligible residential energy customers experiencing a short-term financial crisis or emergency. In other words, Muslimcare is now able to pay a part of the energy and gas bills of our clients, should you prove to be eligible. If you are in need of that extra helping hand, contact us on 02 8011 0911 or email [email protected] and one of our staff will arrange an EAPA assessment, either by phone or in-person. Alternatively, you can apply via Service NSW to be assessed by the NSW Government EAPA Assessment Team.

We want to make sure you feel the most comfort during this time. For registration and more information, contact our CHSP coordinator on 02 8011 0911. We hope to see you soon!
24.01.2022 WE'RE BACK! We’re so excited to announce that our SSG is up and running again. We have definitely seen the detrimental effects isolation has had on our amazing clients, so without further ado, our Seniors Social support group will be reinstated Tuesday 13th October!!!!!!! ... Strict Measures have been implemented to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved so please ensure you respect the changes. Don’t forget to bring along plenty of water, lunch, a hat, your face mask and comfortable shoes!! Complimentary PPE, hand sanitizers and relevant items will be available for all clients throughout the day. Make sure to contact our CHSP coordinator on 02 8011 0911 to register for the outing, seats will definitely fill up due to the limited number of participants permitted on the community bus. #SSG#Muslimcare

17.01.2022 On behalf of Sarah, Rana, Rawanne and Zainab we want to reach out to say thank you to all clients and staff following our official departure from Muslim Care! These past years have been an absolute privilege and pleasure, working with all support staff and clients, thank you all an amazing opportunity to meet, work together, with, and along side such each and everyone. We leave with no regrets, other than the unfortunate fact that ONLY clients and support workers will be missed.
16.01.2022 This week Muslimcare, alongside Holistic Exercise Physiology conducted a "Manual Handling Training" at our Arncliffe Coronation Hall. Our support workers had the opportunity to learn the correct use of a hoist and be refreshed on the different procedures when manually supporting our clients. Muslimcare is grateful to have our own in-house resources, such as a hospital bed, as this means we can provide better care for those in need. We’d like to say thank you to all those who... attended the training, and a special thanks to ‘Hassan Qureshi’ the Founder & Owner of Holistic Exercise Physiology, whose expertise was much appreciated. We were glad to hear about your positive experience in working with our engaged and dedicated staff, Inshallah many more moments like these for Muslimcare as we continue to build strong foundations and inspire community growth. 16.01.2022 We've got some EXCITING news today! Due to the growing nature of our social support groups and the COVID-19 pandemic, we've faced some challenges in terms of providing transport to our clients. Fortunately, Sophie Cotsis supported our transport/fleet with this check in order for us to increase and improve our services. Thank you so much Sophie for all your support and we are hoping that in the new year we would be able to cater and reach out to more of the vulnerable people in our community.
14.01.2022 Thank you Penny Appeal Australia for your time and dedication to brighten up our days We love having you in our social support groups, never failing to put a smile on our clients' faces!
13.01.2022 This year has no doubt been a fruitful time for many, full of gratitude for what has passed, and what is yet to come. At Muslimcare, changes are happening, and we are excited! We welcome, with warm ‘virtual’ embraces, our new Home Care Case Managers; Zeinab Youssef, Amera Salah and Hiam Nahas. Each Case Manager will be in charge of a different region within Sydney. Zeinab will cover the Inner West, Amera the South East and Hiam will be incharge of the South West region. All... three of these women bring exceptional value to our team. They have the drive to inspire others and diligence to take on whatever is thrown their way. Their primary role is to oversee our network of support staff, and ensure clients are receiving the care they need, at the standard they deserve, in line with our customer-centric care principles. Congratulations to the ladies and their new roles. Stay tuned for more !
