19.01.2022 MCF is currently looking for accommodation for a 40-year-old single Muslim sister in Brisbane/Logan urgently. She just requires a room and does not mind sharing a home with other Muslim sisters. She requires something reasonably priced. Please let us know if you or anyone you know has anything available.

19.01.2022 Alhamdulillah, we are in the last days of Ramadan in which we are all, in shaa Allah, putting in our best efforts and racing for rewards before Ramadan bids us farewell. That's why we're encouraging you to donate daily for these nights; that way, you can ensure you've donated on Laylatul Qadr - The Night of Power. By donating even a small amount for each of the Last 10 Nights of Ramadan, you have the chance to gain the reward of giving for more than 1000 months, in sha Allah...! Maximise your rewards for the pleasure of Allah, and help those less fortunate in your local community. https://www.mcfaustralia.org.au/donations/

17.01.2022 As Salaamu Alaikum, We wanted to reach out to you about the rapidly evolving #COVID-19 situation, and our response. MCF is keeping a close eye on the developments and government advice and has been consulting with various other charitable organisations to develop the best course of action. Our team have been meeting regularly to discuss our response to this changing situation, and we are on stand by to support you with any concerns that you may have as a donor.... Meanwhile, in these difficult times of the pandemic, isolation, lockdowns and fear, let us remember the millions of people around the world who have been living through similar circumstances for a very long time now, due to natural or man-made calamities. They are always in need and we can help them. After all, our beloved Prophet Muhammad said: Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity. 16.01.2022 Amongst all the many cases that MCF received this week we had the privilege of helping 2 local families. Case 1: A family with 2 sons who both have a severe disability Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. .. They suffer from cardiomyopathy and respiratory muscle weakness. This situation puts the boys at an increased risk of developing recurrent chest infections, repeated hospital admissions and even death. The medical professionals strongly advised to purchase the Pegaso Pl...us device to assist with their breathing. The machine cost almost $11,000.00. Alhamdulillah, a collection was started and through his tireless efforts Imam Akram collected the bulk of the money needed. We put on record our appreciation to Imam Akram for his support and not forgetting that of the donors. MCF put in the outstanding amount and purchased the machine for the family. Case 2: MCF has been assisting a father and his disabled daughter with Spina Bifida for quite a few years now. Little Fatima is now 10 years old. She is wheelchair bound and her dad (her carer) has to continually move her to keep her comfortable when she sleeps. Sadly her mother is stranded overseas and despite her situation the Government has denied her to be united with her family for the past 7 years. Occupational therapist from SBH Qld recommended the purchase of an air mattress costing approximately $5,000.00. Alhumdulillah we managed to get the price reduced and MCF has purchased it for them. One can see from the above 2 cases where your generous donations are being used. These families and many others are ever so grateful for the support received but it is your generous donations that make it possible. May Allah reward you all abundantly for it.

15.01.2022 Our amazing volunteers are ready to answer your questions and take your donations. We'll be at Mabrouk & Sons till 4:30pm today.

14.01.2022 After only 1 week of fundraising for Saami, we are SO happy to announce that we have reached and EXCEEDED our target! 35 individual donors contributed over $200...0 in just a matter of days! Then, the Muslim Charitable Foundation reached out and offered to sponsor several services Saami will need! In line with our targets, Saami will now be able to access speech therapy as well as attend after-school activities to support his development. A small portion of the donations raised will go to Saami’s parents to help them support him; and to RISE: Refugees, Survivors and Ex-detainees and The Sisters Inside Inc Fund for Children. The Muslim Charitable Foundation will also fund Occupational Therapy for Saami! This goes beyond our initial goals, as we thought it would be too difficult to raise that amount of money. It feels so good to be wrong. An enormous thanks to all the individual donors for your incredible generosity. A huge thank you also to the Muslim Charitable Foundation; and to Binil from the Islamic Council of Queensland for your ongoing support. Each of you have made an enormous difference in the life of this little boy.

13.01.2022 The bush fires continue to rage across several parts of Australia. Thousands are still in evacuation centres, and hundreds of families have had their homes completely destroyed and their lives turned upside down. So many others are looking at returning to partially damaged homes and picking up the pieces. It is a long road to recovery for the affected communities, but MCF is on the ground to lend a helping hand to our fellow Australians. To meet the varying needs of the vict...ims, we are distributing vouchers which can be used locally by them to purchase the goods most needed. In this way, we will also be supporting local businesses that have suffered. The bush fires have caused a lot of damage, but we will not let them burn down the Aussie spirit of helping each other when it matters the most. Lets come together and donate generously!
