19.01.2022 MOCA Cruise today to Fingal Bay, Port Stephens, with the Nova/ Central Coast Chapters. 43 members along for the drive and once again great company with "old an...d new friends ". Meeting point was Cameron Park with a drive through the rural countryside towards Nelson Bay and through to Fingal Bay. Morning tea and some whale spotting at Barry Park Lookout . Fingal Bay Surf Club for lunch with wonderful panoramic views. The predicted rain held off for us all to enjoy the sight seeing and drive home. Thanks Brendon for organising this Run . 14.01.2022 This is the shape an MX5 makes when embedded in the rear quarter of a Mustang. 20 years of amateur racing without contact came to an end when another competitor thought he could pass me at the right hander into Caltex Chase! Thankfully I kept it off the wall and returned to the track after a big spin. (Apologies for the replay commentary by the team back at the house) No mechanical damage and good to go for tomorrows 3 sessions.... Surprisingly the MX5 only had cosmetic damage too. Thank god for Shannon’s Classic car track insurance. See more

09.01.2022 Hi all, Well, we have some good news. The Merrylands RSL can host a general meeting for the MOCA NSW but it has to be on a Tuesday.... Im sure that wont be a problem for most of you; and may even get some new attendees who couldnt make Wednesdays. The reason it has to be a Tuesday is that the club is busier on Wednesday and our attendance would make them not comply with COVID19 capacity. Tuesday is quieter so we can have as many members as we want in the auditorium, practising social distancing of course. See you on Tuesday, September 22 at 8pm We will have a limited number of MOCA Nationals cooler bags available for sale as well as some great raffle prizes

08.01.2022 Good news for a lot of our members. Just a reminder though - you need to be a financial member of an Authorised Club to have Conditional/Historic registration. If you are one of the 136 members who did not renew their membership before the 1/10 deadline and have your Mustang on Conditional/Historic registration - you are now driving unregistered/uninsured cars.

07.01.2022 Not where I expected to be today - got home from work yesterday arvo, started helping Lisa out in the garden - chest pains/ ambulance/ hospital, straight into surgery for a stent and blood clot removal. Feeling better today - will be here for a couple more days whilst they run tests - full extent of any heart damage won’t be known until more tests done in 6 weeks. Not sure what the cause is at this stage - now I know how a pin cushion feels.. Will keep you all updated John Duerinckx
