21.01.2022 Something has been brewing over here! Given the current situation and our being unable to celebrate Pascha at church this year, I've put other things on hold to put together some Pascha@Home packs for our parish children. There have been some all nighters, but they're almost ready to go . I'll be posting them on here shortly as a freebie and hope that they will help make this Pascha more meaningful than ever for you and your little ones

08.01.2022 So... it's a little later than I would have liked, but better late than never, right? As promised, here is a link to the materials I made for our parish kids. There are junior (Pre-k to year 4-ish) and senior (Year 5 to 8-ish) versions.... Both are packed age appropriate explanations, reflections and activities for each day of passion week. Our Church packs were sent out with some of the materials included, but most activities are relatively simple and can be completed with things found around the house to avoid shopping trips. At the heart of all of this is my hope and prayer that you and your child will enjoy, and grow in this Pascha. there is no need to call of Easter, or write it off til next year. It definitely hurts that we can't attend at church; but what we have this year an opportunity. 04.01.2022 Today's Pascha @ home activity for the junior kids: 30 chalk hearts for Jesus The kids had so much fun filling our little culdesac with colourful hearts, and thinking of words to describe our wonderful God

02.01.2022 A blessed Good Friday everyone! I just love the beautiful traditions our Church has created for us which employ all our senses, and carry us away to another world from wherever we are. Even if it's from our own home I couldn't find Roses anywhere, so these gerberas had to do. At least they're red! The kids picked daisies from our garden and helped us bury our icon to the sounds of Golgotha while the sweet scent of essential oils filled the room... Can't wait for tomorrow night!
