21.01.2022 Hope everyone is staying warm this winter, it’s been a fairly dry one at the farm, but things are looking good for a great spring! We have changed our box contents and prices for two reasons; Our suppliers (butcher) have increased their prices and we have listened to feedback that you wanted more steaks. We have increased the steaks from 3.3 to 5 kg in a 20 kg Premium box and from 1.6 to 2.5 kg in a 10 kg box. ... Our next delivery of delicious pasture fed, hormone and antibiotic free beef, chicken and eggs, direct from the farm is planned for Friday the 31st of August (Warrnambool, Hamilton, Dunkeld) and Saturday the 1st September (Ballarat and Melbourne). 1) Order Grass Fed, Dry Aged Angus Beef from our farm. 18.01.2022 CHALAZAE Egg knowledge time. The good thing about being a Victorian egg farming collective is that we can provide Melbourne with the freshest possible eggs. O...ur eggs are often less than 24hrs old when they hit your local shelves. This freshness can mean that the eggs have different characteristics to eggs which have travelled more miles. With our Victorian pastured eggs, you are more likely to come across a chalaza (ke leiza). A chalaza (or chalazae - plural) is the stringy white cord that you can sometimes see on either side of the yolk (see photo). The purpose of the chalaza is to hold the egg yolk in place. A chalazae are completely edible, so removing them is unnecessary. It is a sign from nature that your egg is very fresh- as they usually dissolve over a week or so, depending on storage conditions. If you see it, as you are more likely to do in our eggs, there is nothing wrong. You can simply enjoy, happy in the knowledge you’ve got some mighty fresh eggs!

04.01.2022 Hi All, Our premium boxes have now sold out unfortunately, but we do have some Budget Beef Boxes available. Straight from our farm, you know exactly what is in these sausages and mince! And excellent value at $15/kg. If you already have a beef order in you can add any amount of sausages/mince/burgers or roasts to your existing order.... If you don’t have an order in, the minimum amount is 10kg. If 10kg is too much, share it with a friend or neighbour (we will deliver to one address).
