06.01.2022 Round 4 of the AMCA nationals was held on the weekend at Gilgandra Speedway. Cotton Motorsport travelled with 4 cars each having their own troubles during the n...ight. Max finished with a third in the first heat and the race was red flagged and declared. He then finished 5th in the second heat and had a dnf in the third heat. Max had issues with what was presumed another diff so didn’t finish the race. The main event was rained out, leaving all drivers with a short run on the night. Over the week, the diff has been pulled out to find it was a wheel bearing that had imploded and pushed the axle out after a small hit in the first heat. Blake Cotton burnt out a clutch in the first heat and had to put it on the trailer so had short run. Brett Cotton had the most success in the group with two seconds and fifth. Craig Davidson had a few teething issues in the first heat but drove well for his third run in the AMCA. Huge Thankyou to our sponsors; Abundance auto Recycling, Halls Mini Storage and Muswellbrook Executive Landscape Supplies. This week Cotton Motorsport will be heading off to Gunnedah for the 5th round of the AMCA Nationals.
