25.01.2022 Mareeba Markets: looks like we still have our place at the markets on the 10th of October 7:30 am to 12pm. We need P&C, students and families helpers to support staff on the day. We need 2 adults and 2 or 3 students for each time slot. Time slots for helpers are: 7:30-9am set up and selling 9-10am selling... 10-11am selling 11:12:30pm selling and packing up. A note on the market and times for voluntering will go home Tuesday but if you wish to contact Mrs Parise prior with 2 time options that would be great.

21.01.2022 Last day of term with our great students and staff and pre prep kids. Fun Day activities getting ready and last bits of report writing being finished. Thank you to all who have supported our school this term.

21.01.2022 Parade and thank you to our support staff. Remember Friday we have Fun Friday from 12pm and students need a change of clothes. Term 4 starts on a Tuesday.



20.01.2022 Thank you to Mrs T who helped run our rotations this morning. Flower pots painted, keychains made, puzzles and door hangers finished and our Christmas Cicada table pieces done. Kids enjoyed the last potatoe harvest in a delicious potatoe salad.

19.01.2022 Food Surveys As part of our NGRM Group funding we collect data with the students on types of food we eat. Please help your child complete the survey and return it next week.

18.01.2022 Great News We have a confirmed stall at the Mareeba Markets on the 10/10/20. Students are super excited preparing seed packs, seedlings, lemon myrtle and lavender body scrubs and lots more for sale. A note asking for families to donate an hour to help run the stall will go home on Tuesday the first day of Term 4. Also we have passionfruit butter $7 and sweet tomato chutney $5 for sale.

15.01.2022 Thank you to the P&C, Ms Morgan and Ms Karri for setting, cooking and organising todays Fun Day. Ball games, sausage sizzle and obstracle course were great.

12.01.2022 Awesome TECH designs with students challenged to build a bridge with tape and straws. Wonderful Data collection and graphing in Maths. Delicious first crop of raspberries turned into jam, made students banana pancakes yummo.

12.01.2022 Great day having our Pre Preps with us today. They all demonstrated an excellent recall of colours, shapes, counting and puzzle solving today. Thank you Ms Chrissy and Ms Karri for the awesome Christmas Craft activities.

11.01.2022 Some of the many great things about small schools and multi-aged classes is how it develops team work, the student's ability to cope with change and work with many different people. Recently Ms Morgan and Ms Karri have been filling in for Mrs Adams. We have had Ms Lexie from JCU doing her teacher training too.

06.01.2022 Turtle Release Day Last year Ms Carmen and Ms Karri found newly hatched turtles near the girls toilet. They rescued the babies and today the turtles were released back into their habitat.

01.01.2022 1 of our many Garden Fairies visited today and prepared our smoothie garden patch for the next Gulf Kids Day. The vege patch is producing well. Eggplant pickles and silverbeet leaves for pastry treats and tempura silverbeet stems for Term 4.

01.01.2022 Thank you again to Ms Shenice for volunteering her time to do cooking with our students.

01.01.2022 Hope families enjoy their chutney that went home today made with 90% school grown vege and herb. Ms Karri made ricotta from scratch and cooked up a yummy climbing spinach and ricotta triangles for lunch today. Lots of happy students at lunch.
