16.01.2022 Nothing better than hard days but awesome memories. Cliffhanger Day 4 2012 Amazing Race Teams where given 5 GPS Waypoints and 7 hours to make it to the finish line with out using any of the property roads.... At each GPS point there was a challenge from Splicing rope, changing a tyre of the rim, Mapping skills and First Aid. So we made it to the first GPS point without much drama then headed back out, while smashing our way through some trees we lost our GPS antenna making it very hard to get to the next point. We found some other competitors and just started to chase them hoping they knew where they where going and we made it to the next 2 points. While chasing people and driving to keep up we lost our wheel, some quick bush mechanics and made it to the last checkpoint. We left the last point to having to pull over and DNF with only 1 wheel nut on the tyre. We spent the next 3 hours getting back to camp with the help of our pit crew in some very interesting conditions

13.01.2022 Exciting News at The 4WD Shed! We are heading to SRI LANKA later this year to compete in their extreme conditions! We are so excited to get the invite t...o head over to experience something so different & exciting, especially in a winchtruck! So it's finally time to pull Mutley out of the naughty corner & start a rebuild after 5yrs of being neglected. Mutley has had many inceptions over the years from humble beginnings as a dirty diesel before the LS was dropped in for a number of events before a forced retirement occurred. The first step after saying yes, was to decide what car to take & with OBC this year so close, the GU couldn't be taken as it wouldn't make it back to Australia in time to race. So a decision was made to repurpose Mutley to take overseas and the hunt was on for a new donor car as Mutley requires a new chassis, diffs etc to begin with. Found the perfect one to use, with some great history behind this old gal. Stay tuned for more details as once the GU is finished we will be getting stuck into the 80 Series rebuild!
