23.01.2022 The Committee Spoke! Our committee just got a bit of a makeover. On the cusp of a new President Planning Jay Vynn Saw stepping in, a wonderful leader Jennisha Arnanta stepping down, and a new face Muskaan Dalmia stepping up: we felt like it would be appropriate to honour this moment by sharing with you the joy we feel every week, in MUTM. 18.01.2022 A short message to all the Toasties - it's R U OK? day. We are all going through challenging times; there's no shame in talking, no shame in sharing, and no shame in asking R U OK. While we’re all physically separated it’s more important than ever for us all to stay connected, check in on each other and, for those who are able, be willing to support those who are struggling.... Here in Toastmasters, we have a supportive community that is always up for a conversation. I hope that everyone is taking care of themselves, whether that means turning off social media, or going for a walk or talking to an old friend. And know that there are always people that will be there for you.

12.01.2022 Our 2020 - 2021 Melbourne University Toastmasters Secretary Sabrina has an amazing message that she would like to advocate: One billion children suffered violence just in the last year. That's half of the world's children, and that's half of our future. This October, I, Sabrina Islam, am painting my nails to start conversations and promote awareness around this topic. This is one of the most difficult topics to talk about, but every action starts with a moment of awareness.... Raising awareness is half of the equation. The other half is having an impact through trauma prevention and trauma recovery. I would be very grateful if you would join me to fundraise for this cause in the link below. https://my.polishedman.com/sabrina-islam
