Thankyou everybody for making it such a wonderful year I just wanted to take this moment to remind everybody that the I am reducing hours this year, please take the time to check below . Monday:8am-3pm... Tuesday:8am-3pm Thursday:8am-3pm Friday:8am-3pm Saturday 8am-5pm I am closed Wednesdays and Sundays as per normal. Due to the change in hours my available spaces are booking faster than before i cannot stress enough the importance of pre booking if you are able, I can book and entire year for you or just 1-2spots at a time its up to you and your Schedule. Please respect my privacy and understand that talking about loosing her will be hard for me. She had a wonderful life and old age simply caught up with her. 20.01.2022 Public service announcement: Hi there! Due to the virus spread Mutzcutz is putting some new rules in place for your safety and the safety of me and my family. ... Please do not enter the grooming salon premises, I will greet you just out in the front yard to do the exchange and discuss your appointment. All dogs will be bathed as soon as they arrive, no pre clipping will be done, this means grooming appointments may run a little longer than usual(only around 10mins per dog) Rest assured I am working hard to keep my salon as sterile as I can by wiping cages, surfaces, equipment, cash(change) and door handles after every single dog. All products used to clean and sterilize my salon are effective against the virus spores. Currently there are no locally confirmed cases so I feel we are in relatively safe area. 16.01.2022 These babies will be coming into rescue in a few days. They are 11-12year old bonded buddies and need a new home to call their own. Being older dogs they just want to enjoy life snooze, be pampered and enjoy lifes little luxuries. If anybody thinks they can offer a home to these 2 to live out their days please pm me for contact details of the rescue. 14.01.2022 End of year update Firstly I hope everybody is staying safe and wellthis years been tough and its not over yet! Currently I am booked until the first week of October and its looking like Summer this year will be a busy one. ... I will close over Xmas and new year as usual. My last day of 2020 is December 22nd and first day back 2021 is January 2nd. Christmas season is always very busy so Im urging everybody who wants a spot before my holiday to book in advance. Once Im booked, Im booked, I wont be taking wait lists this year as previous years havent made it feasible. Many people are now booking their year in advance which will make available spots limited to begin with. Please call me instead of Text and Messenger if you can. I find messages can often get lost of skimmed over if Ive had a day with a lot of notifications. If I dont reply in 24hrs dont hesitate to message again and hurry me along, sometimes I miss things. 14.01.2022 COVID UPDATE: Effective immediately Mutzcutz is back doing zero contact drop off, for the last few weeks Ive felt safe taking dogs from people but no anymore. Please place your dogs in the cage provided out front. Front gates will be closed for your pets safety. ... If you have a large dog please pop them inside the gates. Take off all collars, leads, harnesses and I will place a slip lead on your pet. I will return the dog to the cage for your collection. I will be wearing a washable mask for the duration of your pets groom, I am simply trying to keep you all as safe as possible. Dog numbers will once again be limited to 6-7 dogs per day and prompt collection is required for prevention of any cross contamination. I will be taking cash payments along with direct deposit. All cash will be washed so any change given is clean. Please be safe everybody and stay home as much as you can!

13.01.2022 Wanted to share this while its aimed a groomers there is good info for you guys as well! . Here at MutzCutz All blades are sanatised with a specialised wash between dogs. All scissors are regularly wiped with an alcohol solution and the same solution is spritzed on combs and brushes. All cages are wiped with a vet grade disinfectant and the hydro bath is regularly rinsed with disinfectant.... I have many immune comprised, elderly or at risk people who enter my salon so please if you are feeling at all unwell just give me a call and we can rearrange your spot. I understand this is worrying but we groomers are doing the best we can to stay updated and keep you and your pets safe:) Happy Hump Day!

12.01.2022 *****Change in opening hours***** After many years its come to the time where I need it reasses open hours, not only for my mental and Physical health but also for the comfort of my neighbours and family. Mutzcutz will no longer be taking late evening bookings. I know this will be hard for some people, however to try and accommodate this I will be working later on a Saturday if needed for those who cant make a weekday booking. The new hours will be slowly fazed in over th...e coming months and take full effect from January 2020. 08.01.2022 MutzCutz is reducing hours of operation in 2021. Hours of operation from January 2nd 2021 will be as follows Monday: 8am-3pm Tuesday:8am-12noon... Wednesday:CLOSED Thursday:8am-12noon Friday:8am-3pm Saturday:8am-3pm Sunday: CLOSED Please note that finish times will need to be strictly followed unless otherwise discussed on booking. Dogs collected more than 30minutes after closing time will be charged an after hours holding fee. I’m only a small Salon of 1 person, I’m also residential which means dogs left for extended periods can be difficult due to noise and cage restrictions. I’m strongly suggesting that people book in advance Especially if you need a certain day/time. Saturday’s in particular are booking fast with most Saturday clients wanting to book their time for the year. I’ll try to be as accommodating as I can. Thank you (Isn’t Gracie’s little pose cute)

07.01.2022 ****Public service announcement**** Please note due to tough new restrictions MutzCutz is having some changes ****Firstly no contact drop off****... Youll notice there is a small pen in the front garden near my front door, please take all your dogs belongings off and place them inside. I will come out with a safety leash pick your dog up and discuss their booking with you. Large dogs that dont fit will be taken by me with as much distance as possible and owners will need to remove items once I have leashed them. Upon Collection I will come out greet you pop the dog/s in the pen for you to collect and re dress The pen will be wiped after every single dog has entered and kept sterile! As previously all dogs will be bathed immediately on arrival to wash any possible virus contaminants off the coat. Please avoid putting your dog near your face before their booking no kisses until after the groom. ****Dog number restrictions**** In an attempt to avoid Clients coming into contact with each other dog numbers will be limited to between 6-7 dogs per day only, this will give me more time to assure all sterilisation and public distancing measures are adhered to. ****Payments**** I will still be taking cash payments when needed However those that are able to pay Via Direct bank deposit are being encouraged to do so. If you are paying electronically please provide proof of payment BEFORE you collect you dog. I will confirm price and payment details in your collection text after your dog is done. Lastly THANKYOU, everybody has been so cooperative and supportive during this time and it means so much to me to be so blessed with wonderful people in my life! Lets kick this virus in the butt! 06.01.2022 Fleas!!! Please note Mutzcutz will no longer be accepting clients with an active flea infestation. Fleas are extremely uncomfortable and hazardous to your dog. These nasty blood suckers can transfer tapeworms, cause skin irritations and cause anaemia. I am a small single room salon, and while I keep every dog in a seperate cage and always flea wash any dogs with active live fleas the risk of passing them along to other clients has become to high. ... My own dogs also attend the salon and the risk of them collecting fleas and bringing them home is problematic. All dogs will be checked over at drop off if they are suspect of having fleas. If live fleas are found I will be requesting you reschedule your appointment until you are able to dose your dog with a correct flea preventative. I am not a veterinarian and I am not allowed to administer drugs to your dog on my premiss. There is daily, monthly, and even 3 monthly prevention available for your dogs along with baths, rinses and natural alternatives. I advise you speak with your veterinarian about the best option for your dog if you are struggling with fleas. Thankyou for you ongoing support.

All usual sanitization is in place, all products used in my salon will kill the virus. ... Please if you or your family member is feeling unwell contact me to re arrange your booking. I work alone and if I get sick in the hospital for 2 weeks I cant earn my income and most importantly who will feed my dogs? Im doing everything I can possible to keep you guys and myself safe, including limited exposure outside of our home. Stay safe everybody

04.01.2022 MutzCutz is able to remain open for now! The only way I can continue to provide grooming is if you all socially isolate yourselves. Please! If you are having your dog groomed do not go down the shop for a few things, dont go meet with friends for a coffee. Go home! Wait at home, if you cant and its to far run down grab some takeaway and have a little solo car party! Who doesnt love a cheeky cheeseburger in the car park with some bad radio music(maybe your doggo might... like some nuggets for the ride home) I cannot stress enough how important it is for everybody to following the strict guidelines set in place Thankyou again everybody you are all amazing!

03.01.2022 Little Naseby the Havanese puppy having his second groom today. Such a good boy! Its important to get your pups in early to get used to grooming, so they know it wont hurt them. 02.01.2022 !!!Ticks!!! Ticks are out and about. Lucky little Sophia is treated monthly for fleas and ticks, this little parasite was on her ear and lucky dead! Tick medications are controversial but without it this tick could have easily killed this beautiful little soul. ... Please treat your dogs and check daily! Keeping coats short over summer will help you keep an eye out for any strange lumps or bumps.
