24.01.2022 Dear friends, It’s Mother’s Day and what a joyous occasion. So, it is time to say thank you to the ones who have nurtured us and who always bring calm to our chaotic life, may it be Mums, Dads, siblings, family members or friends. I know that there are some out there who never got to experience the love of a mother, and there are some women who longed for children but never got the chance to become mothers. Mother’s Day reminds us that there is no greater love than the one we... receive from God, the most loving mother of all. That love has never been discriminated or conditional, it is a LOVE that equally distributed to humankind alike. It is a deep, pure and true LOVE that even his only son got to die on the cross so that we might live. Thank you, God, for loving us unconditionally, and thank you for accepting us as we are. Thank you for walking beside us all the time and thank you for bearing our pain and sorrow with us. Thank you for your forgiveness and mercy and thank you for always holding our hands when we are lost. Thank you for your countless blessings and your abundant grace. Happy Mother’s Day everyone! 20.01.2022 Dear Friends, Let us love one another, for love comes from God. whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: he sent his one and only son into the world that we might live through him since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.. There is no fear in love.. We love because God first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a br...other or sister is a liar. For whomever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister (1 John 4: 7-21). What an amazing God we have! I pray and hope that you are experiencing God’s amazing love each day. No matter your difficulties God always seems to have a way of getting you out of them. I encourage you to read your scripture and reflect on how fortunate we are that we have God in our lives. We are a very blessed people; therefore, we should be very grateful that we are never alone. If you ever feel discouraged with life, if you ever feel let down by trusted ones, if you ever feel disappointed in people just take a deep breath, walk outside or look out the window. What do you see? Everything is a gift from God, be thankful that we get to witness God’s awesomeness through his amazing creation. Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the official opening of the ‘Shoalhaven Rising from the Ashes' project sponsored by the Catholic church through Father Michael, in Milton. It is called the ‘Storytelling & Healing Space’ and it is located at 8/23 Wason Street, Milton. It is a great project helping our community to recover and heal from major traumas that affected their lives. It’s a space for ...people to share their stories, verbally or creatively through writing and other art based workshops such as photography, pottery, mosaics, music, dance, bushwalking, woodwork, sewing etc. All are welcome there.
