16.01.2022 Today in Eltham we completed a service on a gas ducted heater. The unit was found to be producing carbon monoxide into the air stream. We have now disconnected the appliance and provided the owner with a quotation. Energy Safe Victoria recommend getting your gas burning appliances serviced every two years at a minimum. 15.01.2022 Today at a job in Eltham we found the top burner tube had cracked in the gas heater which caused the flame to burn near the power board. We have since replaced the part & tested the gas unit. We have also done a free carbon monoxide test for the customer to make sure everything was safe. It’s recommended that you have your gas heater serviced by a licensed gas fitter every 2 years !!
