If they love moving around and try different things (and you'd like them to get off your hair for a while!) ...```````Dance Amor PRESENTS *Kids Dance Workshops* during Summer School Holidays! ``````` Don't miss out to be a part of our great and fun adventure :) **Workshops run 5 days a week during 2 weeks of holidays (18-22 December 2017 and 15-19 January 2018) **Times: 9am to 1pm every day **Age group: 10-15 year olds **Program: ==========MONDAY - JAZZ What To Expect: -Warm up and stretch -learn positions and placement for Jazz -Stationary exercises -travelling exercises -learning to balance and turn -jumps and leaps -exercises from the corner -learn a dance -stretch and cool down ==========TUESDAY - HIP HOP What to Expect: -Warmup -learning about isolations -learning how to use isolations -learning some moves -learning Hiphop poses! -learning a dance -cooldown and stretch ==========WEDNESDAY - BALLET What To Expect: -Standing in turnout -learning the positions -learning opposite actions (point and flex/plie and stretch) -Learning tendus and glisse -learning Frappe and Fondu -learning ronde de jam and grande battement -transferring the movements learned at barre to the centre -Skipping and Jumping -Stretching ==========THURSDAY - CONTEMPORARY What To Expect: -Warm up -Learning about the positions in contemporary -learning about how to use the floor -learning some contemporary moves -learning how to dance with other people -learning how to improvise -making a short dance -cool down and stretch ==========FRIDAY - ACRO What To Expect: -warmup -learning about safe acro -learning how to use the floor in acro -learning to roll -being upside down! -learning some acro tricks and moves -Learning some partner acro tricks -cooldown and stretch **Cost: $10 per hour (workshops come as a weekly package of $200. Must be purchased as a whole Weekly Dance Package) **EFTPOS facilities available as well as CASH payments **Experienced Dance Teacher to make workshops educational, engaging and fun - KIARA **Big airconditioned dance space with mirrors, sound system, waiting area for parents (fully-licenced bar - parents only! ;)) **Certificate of Attendance will be given to all students who attend
