If you are able to support our beautiful gallery by volunteering one day a week,fortnight or month or on a casual basis you would be welcomed. Training and support available. 17.01.2022 H’Art and Soul Wed, Nov 4,Sun 15th Nov 9:30 AM-4:00 PM Myffie Coady is a multi-award winning artist based in Port Macquarie This exhibition is influenced by her love of nature and its inherent beauty. Daily walks along the Port Macquarie coastline provide abundant inspiration for her paintings of local flora and fauna, while past travels also influence her paintings. Painted from the heart, this exhibition of contemporary artworks captures the beauty of her varied subjects t...hrough simplicity, emotion, line and form. Also on display will be Myffie's two entries for the prestigious 2020 Blake Prize.

14.01.2022 Gordon Rossiter's Spring Exhibition. Not to be missed. Open daily until the 29th November. Well known multiaward winning Gordon Rossiter is a master of Impressionist oils. With a few brushstrokes he creates the impression of a landscape both bush settings and beach landscapes. Last year Gordon’s November 2019 exhibition at MVCAG was unfortunately cancelled due to the bushfires.... Most of the pictures now on show in his 2020 exhibition were painted then and consist of landscapes of the local area and afield. There will be a collection of limited prints on display. See more

Heartfelt paintings are an emotional response to the massive year we have had. Trying to find my happy place through immersion in painting. Hope to see you there.

Each year around the world International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated on 8th March. ... The Macleay Valley Community Art Gallery will be celebrating IWD 2021 with an exhibition of women’s art work. This is a non-competitive exhibition celebrating women's artistic talents. The MVCAG Committee invites entries from women working in any medium, e.g. Textiles, Painting, Sculpture, Floral Arrangements, Wood/Metal Work, Quilting, Ceramics etc. for this exhibition. Entry Fees to be donated to The Samaratins to aid in their support for women and children suffering domestic violence.
