23.01.2022 If you missed my hubby's and I podcast this week, it's the one where we have a bit of a constructive download about being Dementia Carers, you can catch it on the link below.

22.01.2022 This is my little Evie, she's nearly two and sweet as pie. She likes making tea, pulling out her pig tails and licking the spoon. But most of all she loves eating cake. We bake all the time together, she drags her stool to the bench and exclaims "I help, I help". I've had lots of requests for diabetes friendly recipes, that are still sweet and satisfying, but ultimately safe. So I'm thinking Evie and I need to do some experimenting in the kitchen to make this one happen. Hmm probably something nutty, so it might not suit everyone, but leave it with us, we will try our best. Stand by

15.01.2022 A winter warmer pumpkin soup with a kick and a twist. Check it out now on the blog xxx https://www.meganvangenderen.com//work-from-home-lunch-soup

14.01.2022 Another soup to add to the list; Tuscan White Bean Soup. We loved it, but - confession - Oma didn't love this one , find out why and get the recipe on the blog now. https://www.meganvangenderen.com/post/tuscan-white-bean-soup

08.01.2022 As our Oma recovers, I’m fortifying her soups with a delicious vegetable broth from Nutraorganics . Rather than using a GF stock cube to enrich the soups flavour, use a nourishing veg or bone broth, it’s just as tasty and includes a bunch of vitamins and minerals to give her body a stronger arsenal to recovery. I’m adding two heaped tablespoons of veg flakes to 2 cups of water to Oma’s Cauli and Brocoli Soup, recipe on my website https://www.meganvangenderen.com/omas-special-recipes Try it and let me know how it tastes Oma’s will be ready in 10 minutes

05.01.2022 Very new research about the likelihood of our bubbas and allergies http://www.sbs.com.au///birth-link-food-allergies-research

01.01.2022 Finding time and resources for self care as a carer, is hard. Like really hard. Jas and I have experienced a health crisis at home this past fortnight, and ensuring we take just 5 minutes of self care has been crucial so we can keep up our caring roles. So, I have developed 5 tips that are not only achievable but can pretty much be ticked off at home. I encourage you to check them out on the blog now https://www.meganvangenderen.com//5-self-care-tips-for-car And if you're not a carer, these tips are still absolutely relevant to you, and really nice ways to give yourself a little self care, that we all need
