24.01.2022 Single arm work! Single arm pressing is a great way to iron out strength differences from side to side. It is also a great place to visit on your way to barbell pressing if you are rehabbing a shoulder that has been painful in the overhead position.



23.01.2022 Work done! I am especially prone to cruising through some workouts. Today I picked 4 basic movements:... - Burpees - DB snatch - Bodyweight squats - Ski erg Set the timer for 10 minutes and went for it. With basic movements there is nowhere to hide, you can’t blame lack of skill or underdeveloped capacity in a particular skill. You just need to keep moving and do the grunt work. Tomorrow I will be working on skill development. P.s my wife will hate this photo

21.01.2022 Simplicity is key At the moment it is hard to maintain a normal training schedule as most of us don’t have access to our usual training facilities. Following on from my post yesterday urging you to revisit something you haven’t done in a while, take the time to find a way to simplify your training. Pick something simple like a pair of dumbbells and squeeze everything you can out of it. Experiment with different exercises, take this time to make sure you never say you can’t... train properly because your away from the gym and your usual equipment again. SIMPLICITY IS KEY

12.01.2022 Isolation training! . I haven’t done Lat pull downs in years. I have started throwing them in as a way to build volume with this movement pattern. . You may not have the equipment to do this, but think outside the box and use this time to revisit something you haven’t done in a while.

06.01.2022 It’s been hard training alone, especially when your used to having people around that push you. The thing I have learnt out of all this is that I will never complain about getting up at 5:30 in the middle of winter to go to the gym again. We will never take the small things for granted again.
