Hossain Karimi, a young Quran reciter died of a massive heart attack during a soccer game yesterday. Be. Hossain is only 25 years old. It is a great loss to our Sydney community and for his parents in Quetta, Pakistan. May Almighty Allah bless him with the Shifa'at of Muhammad o Aal e Muhammad AS and Sabr to the parents. We mourns the loss of Hossain Karimi and stands together with the family of the Marhoom. Thank you, Muhammadi Welfare Association

We regret to inform you of the sad demise of respected scholar Allam Javed Jaffri who passed away this morning in Pakistan. His Janaza will be today after Zohrain at Ancholi imambargah and burial will be in wadi-e-Hussain. Allama Javed Jaffri had been visiting and speaking at MWA. He was also one of the key scholars who took interest in the new Imambargah project and provided guidance. We pray to the Almighty Allah (swt) grant marhoom jawar e masomeen AS , maghferat, and a place amongst His chosen ones. May Almighty also give sabr to family members and friends. 16.01.2022 Salam Alaikum Brothers and Sisters, We are proud to share the news that one of our young volunteer Rahim Zaidi who has been awarded the NSW Premier’s Bushfire Emergency Citation Award. Last year, bushfires caused havoc in Australia taking precious lives and destroying hundreds of properties.... Rahim is one of the SES volunteers in the operations section who was deployed to RFS headquarters, assisting people with urgent queries about the fires affecting their houses in rural areas. Rahim is still a very active volunteer with MWA, specially in Ramadan and Ayam e Aza programs at Bellfield. Our heartiest congratulations to Rahim and his family on this great achievement. May Allah and Chaharda Masoomeen give you more honours and awards in all walks of life and make us proud. Last week Rahim' s interview was published on SBS for his outstanding volunteer work.
