25.01.2022 Last week we had the absolute pleasure of having this 2018 Ford Mustang GT in the shop. This particular example has been enhanced by Tickford and sports some other subtle modifications. Our tasks were to perform a service and prepare the car for an upcoming track day. We replaced the engine oil and brake fluid, while giving the vehicle a thorough check over. All levels and oils were checked and the air and cabin filters were cleaned. The owner also requested we fit a Ford Pe...rformance short throw shifter. This involved removal and disassembly of the factory piece and replace some of the internal components. Once complete it was refitted to the vehicle and set up to make sure it functioned currently, particularly the reverse lockout. After the work performed, the Mustang is ready for it's upcoming date with Collie Motorplex. Thanks to the owner Mike for leaving it with us for a couple of days, it was very enjoyable to work on.

24.01.2022 150 Series Toyota Prado, in for a 150,000km service and timing belt replacement.

23.01.2022 This BF FPV Pursuit Ute was in the shop recently for some much needed attention. Having been parked up since early this year due to the owner being stuck overseas during Covid, it was in a bit of a state and was not running properly. Some unpaying tenants decided that the valley of the engine would make the perfect place for a nest. To properly clean this up, the manifold needed to be removed to gain access. Once this was done the area was thoroughly cleaned and we inspected ...the engine bay for any damage to wiring which thankfully there was none. After being reassembled the engine bay was given a through clean to bring it back up to spec. We performed a major service changing the majority of the fluids in the car as they still deteriorate over time. Various filters were also changed as part of the service. The interior also required some attention as well. A thorough clean was required as there were some small isolated spots of mould. Once cleaned using the appropriate PPE, the cabin filter was replaced and an antibacterial treatment performed to the aircon system to make sure it would perform correctly and safely. With the ute cleaned up and back on the road, the owner can now enjoy it again and it's back to how it should be.

22.01.2022 This AU XR8 Ute has been an ongoing project over the last couple of months. Having had a major service and the cooling system gone through previously, it came in for some further improvements. The braking system was improved and refurbished. This includes fitting reconditioned calipers, DBA slotted rotors and Performance pads to the front. The rear axle received new rotors, ceramic pads and new hand brake shoes. The fluid was the thoroughly flushed as well. Suspension wise, i...t received a thorough upgrade. The ute was heavily lowered previously, however the original shocks were still present and the rear leaf springs while reset, had definitely seen better days. The owner wanted to return the vehicle back to standard height and improve its awful ride characteristics. Koni Yellow shocks, Kings springs, new lower arms and wheel bearings were fitted to the front. New king leaf springs, Koni Red shocks and new U bolts were fitted to the rear. This has made a massive improvement to ride quality and handling. With the majority of the mechanical improvements now performed, it's a very different ute to when it first arrived. Thanks to the owner Max for allowing us to perform the work, it's been very satisfying to bring it back up to standard.

20.01.2022 This 1982 XE Falcon S pack has been our latest project through the shop. Finished in Polaris Blue with a 4 speed manual, it is one of 15 built in this guise. The owner has had this vehicle parked up for the best part of a decade and the car will be receiving a full restoration progressively over the coming months. After having an initial check over previously, we had discussions with the owner on a plan for the car overall and in which order to perform the required work prio...r to registration and paint. On this occasion we focused on the suspension, steering and brakes as well as other various repairs to make the car drivable again. To briefly summarise these particular area's were thoroughly gone through with almost all parts receiving some form of attention. The majority were reconditioned or replaced, with most items being painted or detailed at this time. While the majority of the car will stay as original, some parts where improved such as the Super Pro bushes/Swaybar, Koni shock absorbers and Lovells springs. Surprisingly the vehicle needed little beyond a thorough service and tune, plus some other adjustments to be running and driving quite nicely. On its next visit we will continue to work on the driveline, cooling and fuel systems plus refine some other aspects we aren't 100% happy with. Thanks to the owner Brett for his patience and allowing us to perform the work. We can't wait to see it finished!

20.01.2022 2015 Chrysler 300 SRT Core, in for a 30,000km service.

19.01.2022 This AU 2 XR8 ute was in the shop last week for some attention. After being parked up for a while, we went right through the vehicle giving it a major service replacing various fluids and filters. We also gave a report on the items that would need attention in the future. This is a very tidy example, which are few and far between these days.

17.01.2022 This 2016 Mazda BT-50 has been in the shop a couple of times lately. Firstly for a pre-purchase inspection and secondly for a major service including all the filters and service the transmission. Inspections prior to purchase are always recommended for both peace of mind and a realistic overview of a vehicles condition and possible upcoming repairs. This is something we do often and have saved our customers money and heartache on multiple occasions.

15.01.2022 On Friday we were lucky enough to have this immaculate example of a BF GT-P in through the shop (Build Number 125 finished in Lightning Strike Silver). It sports some modifications to the intake, exhaust, suspension and brakes to make it a well sorted ride. Having only traveled 68,000km and having not been serviced for a couple of years, we decided to go right through the vehicle and replace all the fluids (minus the ZF gearbox, which will be done at a later date) and clean o...r replace all the filters. We also found a couple of smaller issues and rectified them and have given the owner a detailed report as to items that should be replaced/upgraded in the future. We thoroughly enjoy working on these sorts of vehicles. Thanks to the owner for allowing us to work on his pride and joy.

13.01.2022 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, in for a 15,000km service.

12.01.2022 76 Series Land Cruiser, in for rear suspension repairs. EFS leaf springs and shocks were fitted to suit the owners towing requirements. A Flash Lube Catch Can was also fitted as per the customers request.

11.01.2022 This 2015 Focus ST was in for a service and check over last week. Definitely a fun little car to drive.

07.01.2022 There's not many E series Falcons around these days that are this clean and original. After being parked up for a couple of years, this EF Fairmont was brought in for a service, check over and some various repairs. There's a chance it will be on the market soon, so keep an eye out for it in the usual places.
