16.01.2022 The Gold Coast Chapter held a successful long weekend crusade to the Sunshine Coast in late August. Organized by Kevin and Suzanne there was a twenty-car contingent that experienced a fantastic weekend, taking in some of Queensland’s best MX5 driving roads. It proved a wonderful way to spend time with like-minded MX5 owners and club members, not that they talked about their cars for the whole 3 days, but they were spoken of and looked over quite fondly and quite a bit! Any members who haven’t been on a weekend away with the group might like to read the run report coming up in a future edition of the Rag Top review to seek inspiration. You may even be inspired to organise one yourself!

So great to get out in the spring weather and enjoy our fabulous cars on country roads with some great company!

04.01.2022 What a fantastic run with the Brisbane Chapter yesterday as Allan and Dale took us on some great country back roads just made for our MX5's. Well done folks! The drive was finished off with a very tasty seafood lunch at the Moreton Bay Boat Club. Perfect way to spend a Sunday - even though we had to put the tops up a couple of times for the rain!

But it's not an unlucky #13 as they are still able to bring you a great winter MX-5 run this August. As usual this Winter Wanderings will be filled with interesting historical facts about the areas through which we travel as well as some great roads winding through the picturesque Scenic Rim. Closing date is... August 1st. RSVP due that date - see member emails for details. Note: Due to the size of the lunch venue, only 40 people will be able to eat in, but you have the option of still joining the run and bringing a picnic lunch or grab a takeaway and enjoy the countryside in a park near our final destination. So no-one misses out! Get in now for your chance to run with the winter pack.
