24.01.2022 This fuel tank is of a Honda CBR1000RR 2007 Repsol, and had been stored away for 10 years, and this is what happens when you leave fuel in the fuel tank for that periad of time. As you can see on the left is the rusty old fuel tank, and on the right is the same fuel tank cleaned of rust and new fuel pump.

21.01.2022 This engine is out of a Ducati 400ss 1996 model, has a problem starting low on compression and possible fuel leaking fom the valve's, check this out. Front cylinder of look at the back of the piston.

13.01.2022 Well today working a Kawasaki Ninja 300 refitting the stater after been re-winded from Small Coil Rewinds.

12.01.2022 Cast-iron cylinders are different to nickle plated cylinders and more time to warm up, not warm up properly will result in top end damage.A good starting point in the lubrication with fuel is at 30:1. On the left you can see the damage to the cylinder and piston from a Honda CR500R. On the right is a 4/stroke cylinder nickle plated my bike Honda CRF450R. Please take care on run in process. Ross.

09.01.2022 This is what happens when you take your road bike to a shop for a minor service, they dont clean the air filter element in this case it was a K&N element. I clean all throttle body's and complete air intake assembly, performed compression test, on the Yamaha R-1 cylinders were down by 45%. Dirt is disastrous for the life of an engine, once it bypass the intake piston/rings and cylinders suffer.

02.01.2022 Ohlins shocker out of a BMW GS1100R. Strip down ready for cleaning and ading new parts to it. All cleaned all new inner parts re-build ready to re-assembly back in the bike.
