21.01.2022 Christmas is in exactly 1 month from today, so what better time for the Channel 9 news crew to come and talk to Nicole about Christmas decorating for the 6pm news tonight. The focus has been on most people getting ready for Christmas much earlier than usual, which you can imagine explains why we have sold out of some of the favourite new items this year. 19.01.2022 Here's one of the finished garlands I made with you on last Wednesday's LIVE Create with My Christmas demo. A great example of my technique of starting with a table runner, adding lights to the garland and then breaking apart just a few picks to make the most out of your decoration spend. For example, I have only used 1 x Midnight Blue Leaf Pick ($6.95) and 1 x Metallic Blue Crabapple Pick ($8.95) and have cut all 7 arms off the long pick to individually place in my table... garland. I love the balance of the snowy pinecones either side of a simple deep blue bauble to tie it all together. It's much simpler than you think, so if you'd like to give this idea a try for yourself, even in a differrent colour scheme, just head back and watch our live replay to catch my demo.

16.01.2022 Every year we decorate our gorgeous front porch display in the store with something new. Last year you will remember lots of red and green festive fun. This year it resembles a quaint French country cottage I think with our Mistletoe Manor theme.... Soft sage green shades and frosty white touches that would suit any home decor have white fury wintery elements like pine cones, deer and owls. We have thrown a modern twist into it with the addition of the black and white farmhouse buffalo check which has been very popular for Christmas. 05.01.2022 I think I could watch this all day long. Our Pretty in Red theme from last Sunday's reveal really showcases how much of an impact you can greate just in monotone. Using one colour only - could be any colour you love, you can use variations of the tone and add so much depth and texture to your display by adding different finishes. From the gloss, matte & translucent baubles to the picks, ribbon, flowers, berries etc there can be so many textures to all sing together to fi...nsih with a jaw dropping display. Something unexpected in monochrome tones, Catherine from my marketing team has a paired back simplicity to her home style and has added that simplicity in abundance to her Christmas decorating. I especially like how she mixed her special pieces with inexpensive and easy to create ideas to help take the pressure off at Christmas, which gives her more time to be in the kitchen where she loves to be....
