25.01.2022 DID YOU KNOW? My Dental Team and our lovely Dr Maria takes part in the Australian Dental Health Foundation volunteer program. Through this program, Dr Maria is able to 'adopt a patient' in need from our local community and help see them through all their dental treatment needs at our Bella Vista practice. The program helps to make dental care accessible to those in the community who may not otherwise be able to!

23.01.2022 This Saturday our Bella Vista team completed a medical emergency training course to ensure that we’d be prepared for any emergency situation in our clinic! Our training was completed as tailored to our practice, with plenty of scenario exercises involving the entire team. Check out the pictures from the day!

20.01.2022 It’s been an exciting week of celebrations for all our patients having formals and we’ve been loving all the amazing formal photos you’ve all sent in... A few lucky patients were able to be completed right before their special day including @_nicolekadlecik We were able to arrange for Nicole to get her braces off only just in time for formal! 12.01.2022 Meet our lovely dental assistant Aroob and her beautiful little sister Arzu! Arzu was born with Prader Willi Syndrome (PWS) which occurs in 1 in 16000 births and is random: meaning any child can be born with PWS. It is a rare and complex disorder that involves several genes on chromosome 15 being deleted or unexpressed which leads to almost all systems of the body and brain being affected. Unfortunately, PWS research is little known and grossly underfunded. This month Aroob... and her family have been helping to raise donations for the Prader Willi Research foundation of Australia. 11.01.2022 Have you met our lovely general dentist, Dr Elvis? Well if you haven’t... Here are three fun facts about him! 1He loves coffee! And often brings in delicious @st_ali pods for the whole team. He’s on a constant mission to brew the smoothest coffee whether it’s with the @aeropress, MockaPot or @hariov60. 2Before becoming a dentist, Dr Elvis studied Pharmacy and is still a registered hospital pharmacist today - he’s very clever! ... 3 We know you’ve been wondering and... Yes, he was named after a Vietnamese Elvis: Elvis Phuong who he thinks was named after Presley, so we guess it still counts right?

06.01.2022 Maggie is one of our superstar ortho patients and had been counting down the days until it was time for her braces and expander to go on (she requested to have both on the same day!) She always comes in with the biggest smile on her face and asks us the most intelligent questions throughout her appointments! A big thanks to Maggie’s Dad for capturing this special moment!

03.01.2022 Congratulations to our dental assistant Tamara who recently passed her board exams to become a DENTIST! These are an exceptionally difficult series of exams which approximately only 10% of candidates pass. Tamara has been such an incredible part of our Bella Vista family who always gives her all when it comes to caring for our patients as well as the rest of our team. We're so proud of her and wish her all the very best in her dental career. Congratulations, Dr Tamara!
