24.01.2022 To say that I was spoilt for choice with this sneak peek would be an understatement! When there is golden light, a beautiful bump and a gorgeous couple I am totally in my element and Sunday nights maternity session with Nadia and Darcy did not disappoint. I’ve known Nadia for a little while now and I’m so excited to document such a special time for her little family, I can’t wait to meet the little girl you are growing!

23.01.2022 Little Miss E ... this session was very special to me for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I have known her gorgeous mum since she was a little baby which makes me feel really old. And secondly, Miss E arrived the weekend we where booked to do her maternity session. Now here she is, still 2 weeks shy of her actual due date, at home and growing perfectly! I cant think of a better reason to celebrate such a big milestone! Thank you for having me capture her welcome home, she is such a strong gorgeous girl and I cant wait to see her grow! 22.01.2022 Such a gorgeous mummy to be, radiant and glowing in her final few weeks before welcoming their little man. We could not have picked a better setting for these two, and even though the rain threatened to wash us out, we had just enough sun at just the right time! 22.01.2022 If 2020 has taught me anything its that I need to spend more time with the people that I love and fill my days with something that I am truly passionate about. For the last few years Ive balanced working, studying and building my business with being a mummy and having a shift working husband. It has been busy, chaotic and when the dust settled after our forced shutdown earlier this year I realised that being pulled in so many directions wasnt good for anyone. ... Which is why Im so excited to announce that from September 14th Im going to be saying goodbye to my day job (which after almost 10years with the company is not an easy thing to do) and Ill be working full time within My Little Light Photography! This means more midweek availability especially for those delicious in home sessions, more opportunities to learn and grow as an artist, plus more time to invest in myself and my family. Thank you to everyone that has supported me and trusted me to capture your special moments, its always a privilege. I could not do this without you and Ive loved every minute of the stories and milestones that we have shared together. I cant wait to document more love, laughter and light in 2020 and beyond! 22.01.2022 Last night was such a gorgeous evening and I was lucky enough to spend it with the Thompson crew, wrangling a two year old and a puppy for some very special family photos. This session was a gift for Carey from her children in celebration of a very special birthday earlier this year, and I may be a little bias but I honestly can’t think of a better gift than the gift of memories. 20.01.2022 They say third times the charm and that certainly rings true for Tahlia & Steve who finally got to celebrate their wedding at the Vine Shed Venue & Cellar Door in McLaren Vale on Saturday. And what a wonderful celebration it was, there was laughter, love and Hot Potato to kick off the dance floor for their little man (see him loving life below!) 18.01.2022 First birthdays are made to be celebrated! Its equal parts celebrating the growth of your tiny baby into an almost toddler. And celebrating surviving your first year as parents (or parents of 2 in this families case). 18.01.2022 Third times the charm ... especially for Katie and Daniel! This wedding was supposed to be in May, but was postponed to the Friday and then again when the lockdown hit but didn’t stick, it became a Sunday wedding! I’m so glad they pulled it all back together with some last minute changes to create an awesome day! I can only imagine the stress, the tears and frustrations leading up to yesterday, but celebrating with them and their family and friends all you felt was love and... a huge sense of relief as they finally said ‘I do’! 17.01.2022 I seriously have a problem ... I can’t seem to narrow down my sneak peeks at all lately!I just want to share them all! This was my Monday morning with Miss N, just 14 days new, enjoying the cuddles and snuggles with her parents and fur siblings. It had been awhile between visits, but I have known Karen since I was a lecturer a beauty therapy collage which was so long ago it feels like another lifetime. 17.01.2022 My Sunday afternoon was spent with LaToya, Matt, their gorgeous baby bump and the simply stunning (and foggy) Mount Lofty Gardens. Honestly, I could not have picked a better combination if I tried. I think youll agree that the results are simply stunning! The thing I love most about maternity sessions is how perfectly it sets the stage for the newborn session, not only do we get a chance to know each other but it also makes me so incredibly excited to meet the new addition and results in a super relaxed session. 11.01.2022 Hi all, Happy Wednesday! I have a quick mini session update for you because dates for 2020 are in short supply! Currently I only have two Mini Sessions spots remaining, and these are my final dates for 2020, they are: 4:30pm on Monday 28th September - perfect for school holidays!... OR 6:30am on Sunday 6th December - dont let the early morning put you off, the light at that time of day is just beautiful and I cant be the only parent with 5am risers! 07.01.2022 Have I mentioned how much I love in home sessions? Seeing kids in the place they feel most comfortable and content is always such a joy, there are plenty of laughs, play and I do try to encourage some quiet time just to get those cuddles. But I find if you really want to capture your little ones personalities then nothing beats an in home session. 05.01.2022 One year ago I visited these boys at only a few hours old and here we are celebrating their first birthday with family cuddles (recreating my favourite photo from their maternity and newborn session), smashing cake and making a huge mess! 02.01.2022 This week Mr O lost his first tooth and it lead to one of our biggest parenting fails to date ... After weeks of wobbling it finally fell out one morning before preschool. Needless to say there was a lot excitement and discussion about the tooth fairy, asking all sorts of questions which needed to be answered in very precise detail. Such as when does the tooth fairy come? What happens if your asleep but Im awake will it still come? What does it do with the tooth? After som...e big chats we put the tooth in a glass of water in a safe place and left for the day. That afternoon I get a message from my husband asking which glass the tooth was put in ... well it turns out Mr Os tooth ended up in the dishwasher! Which lead to a moment of panic, followed by mum guilt and then to the hunt for what could pass as a tooth replacement in the event that Mr O asked about it when he got home. Luckily, Mr O was too exhausted after preschool to ask about it and come morning had a glass with a couple of shiny new coins. What has been your biggest parenting fail yet? No judgment!
