23.01.2022 Taking stock of a lot of things at the moment. I haven't been as active on social media for good reasons. There is a time and a place for everything- Social media these days can definitely complicate things and not in a good way so I have learnt to vent a little less openly. Upon review I have been reformulating my "wish" list. I have reached small goals from the original now that is about 2yrs old. It wasn't for nothing. There were a few big wishes on there which I feel have... revised themselves. Namely taking a big jump with travel. Whilst it would be nice to visit family overseas it's not practical. Our own family of 5 makes it expensive in flights and accommodations. We have been focusing on us. We are learning to love our new country. We've always loved discovering and have been putting down some great "wish/dream" trips a little more locally in our own state. We are breathing and restoring ourselves for the journeys that lie ahead in all areas of our lives. ;-) See more
20.01.2022 For a while I stopped Dreaming...for a while I felt like I was drowning. Feelings being choked down by a society that does not live by common basic ethics anymore. As a family we've had a lot to deal with. A few things these last few weeks reminded that because we were giving in to others will and demands boxing ourselves in it created a negative cycle literally of damaging nightmare situations. We are slowly coming up for air and breathing again: Re-instituting the things that make and define us as only we in our personal rights can be. We are learning by baby steps to dream again. We are believing in the Power of Positivity. Peace-out! ;-)

15.01.2022 So this morning I put into realisation a set of ideas I've been tossing around for a while now...I've created this page based on a few things I've been doing whilst soul-searching these last few months. 07.01.2022 So Somehow quite a few of these things materialised! Maybe not entirely as I envisaged but in my heart I am comforted of better things to come... 1- Happened more in a few different little ways 2- Well hasn't quite happened as I wouldn't dare till they can sit still together!! 3-Maybe not quite my best/ most often haircuts due to affordability but I'm getting there. 4-Has happened in a few small ways I suppose but need a few proper regular dates as by the time we sit alone t...here are so many issues to discuss it's exhausting. Need to work on a proper support system for us too with the kids. 5-This was a BIG one! So just over a year in new place and it works heaps better for us. We are still renting but slowly hopefully working towards ownership someday of similar. 6- Still outstanding. 7- Stll outstanding. 8- Well now -due to some health issues the last year still struggling with this one again. 06.01.2022 My Little Wish (Natasha Coetzee)-So I have hankered about putting it out there but here goes (can't be contradictory to my own advice!!): 1-To be able to afford to take my eldest daughter on a decent pamper date and reconnect with her. Time is speeding by. 2-To take our younger two kids to the movies (They've never really been) 3-To be able to get a good haircut and small treatment for myself again at least once a month for at least 3-6mths in a row. 4-To go on a kids free ...date with my hubby and not stress about my kids and try and re-connect our marriage's communication sanity. 5-To be able to move in to/or own again a comfortable house locally that is functional, safe, enjoyable and efficient for our familie's needs. Just to have enough room for everyone to breathe and grow. 6-To see my UK family again (they haven't met all our kids even face to face). It's been more than 10 years in my sister's case) 7-To have a mini holiday in the Med/Europe. (Greece/France/Italy/Spain etc) I am nuts about the food cultures/histories. 8-To get back down in weight to the person I vaguely was 17years ago. (I want to be around for my kids still!!) See more
03.01.2022 My Little Wish for today: Having enough money in my pocket/account or else a choice one day of being at the frontline of good produce shopping...cruising in a large true local market for affordable meats (including local Venison and Game); Fish & Shellfish; Nuts and Cheeses and be able to take home with a smile and stock the fridge & freezer for family for a good while. Sooo over grabbing the bare minimum at local commercial grocery store, where quality goes down and prices go up. I'm disheartened at having to scrounge through meat shelves to find something actually affordable and worthwhile (in raw forms too -not necessarily pickled and brined). It should be a sensory experience to be enjoyed and not one to dread.
01.01.2022 TODAY'S MESSAGE: DREAM! Don't lose the ability to Dream! You need to keep chasing that star! Don't give up, for without a Dream there is no hope of a Wish to come true. Push yourself to explore your normal boundaries and put Inspiration back into your life! Start with baby steps by thinking of something small. If we all share a little Wish based on a dream it may come true if we try and realise it together! A little networking around the world/locally might provide the answer to your Wish sooner than you think!
