08.01.2022 This can seem extreme if you are not used to it, but the same is true of seeing somebody cleanshaven when you've only even known men to have beards. This is fashionable right now and becoming more so as men become more comfortable in being seen to care about their appearance. If you are considering it, be aware that it will communicate certain things about you. The positive things it communicates is that you pay attention to detail, care about your appearance, you probably ...keep your house clean, you are competent and careful, you take time to consider and you will act responsibly even if that isn't what others are doing. On the negative: you are somebody who will identify faults and expect to see improvement, some managers would rather not improve so that sets you back. Also, this is a bit of a maverick style which suggests you will be self-motivated rather than a team player.this could be viewed as a negative or a positive. If you work in a creative field or a company that values innovation an improvement of procedures then this is a good look. If your workplace wants you to be a cog in a machine or values tradition over practicality then this look may be best avoided. In dating, it is a mixed bag. If you are into men, go for it. There is a gay persona this works really well for and it won't even raise eyebrows. If you are dating women, then it is more of a mixed bag. Any degree of manscaping sends a particular message that you have actually worked on your appearance. Some women are turned off by that, but others find it appealing. If the rest of your appearance is under control (reasonably fit, good clothing, smell nice etc) then a two-day stubble works better for first impressions. For somebody you already know, a degree of manscaping can make you stand out as unique in a group and could help transform a friendship into something else. Ultimately, it is best you dress for who you are to communicate true things about yourself through your look. Don't use this look if you are actually a slob in the rest of your life. It'll just create disappointment.
