24.01.2022 I'm back at work after a bit of time off. First customer of the year was Claude, owner of Compleat Angler Moorabblin. Great place for fishing tackle. 23.01.2022 I'm saving lives. Its been over 4 weeks since the fear of contracting Corona Virus took me off the road. I'd had a few passengers coughing in the car in the past. I'm sure that last year I got the Flu from someone I picked up so it kind of worried me I would pass it on to my family. My Dad is 90. September last year he got the Flu and was in a terrible state for about 2 weeks. I really do miss meeting new folk. I hope by July or August I can get back to driving #MyIoniqEV again. The money was nice too.

21.01.2022 I'm hoping to come out of retirement and get back into Uber soon. Waiting for the day I don't need 'papers' to travel.

20.01.2022 With the cold weather and school holidays people are away from Melbourne. Its been very quite the last couple of weekends with many jobs only being a few kilometers. It was surprisingly busy in the City on Saturday night but I did get a final job from StKilda back to Bonbeach which took me within a few kilometers of home.

19.01.2022 I'll be glad when school holidays are over. Weekly income is down. Friday and Saturday nights are ok but still quiet. The cold weather isn't helping.

16.01.2022 My last job on Sunday night was from Heidelberg to Hurstbridge. Great $30 trip but then 50klm drive home.

15.01.2022 Interesting night out working. I met Shawn Cosgrove (radio announcer, The Price Is Right). He now runs a Funeral business. Also had a lovely chat with a woman who does climate science with the CSIRO and lives in Noosa. Three girls out partying, a couple that had been on the beach (left sand in the car) and a girl studying at Monash in Clayton.

15.01.2022 Swapping pet stories, trips abroad, discovering you know the passengers father, living next door to the passengers sister, picking up the same person exactly one year later going on their first anniversary date, #Uber changes lives!

09.01.2022 Last night my final job was only a few kilometers from home in keysborough after 215 kilometers of driving. Arrived home with 18klm left in the battery. The suburban and freeway trips worked out nicely with a city to ferntree gully mixed in there. Still loving #myioniqev

07.01.2022 First job of the day from Bonbeach to Prahran! I'm taking advantage of the new car chargepoints in Prahran Square while I get some lunch. Fantastic new space at the old Cato street carpark behind Coles and Woolworths.
