16.01.2022 Recently we sent out a survey to learn more about how you are trying to stay active. We received some great responses and sometimes interesting ideas. Most people that responded are currently, or want to exercise at home. Home exercise is convenient, low cost and a great way to start when you lack confidence. Doing your exercises at home are also a great "gateway" to other forms of exercise - moving on to walking/running groups, going to a gym or recreation center, or using a...n allied health professional. We also asked people what the top 3 things stopping people from exercising - the barriers to exercise. There were our top results: - motivation (70%) - isolation (50%) - scared of making a fool of myself (quite a lot of people said this) - everything else: time, injury, pain, corona virus, money So if you like to exercise at home but lack the motivation you are in good company! Most of us find it hard to keep an exercise program going and as we get older. This is normal, as exercise can be repetitive, boring and it takes a few weeks before you start seeing the benefits. Fortunately, there are a few low cost solutions to help you stay motivated: 1) set some goals - be clear to yourself why you are exercising (do you want to be more mobile, be more confident with your balance?) 2) create a strict routine - choose a time and place where you exercise everyday 3) bring in a friend - support each other to stay motivated 4) include some variety in your exercises - change your program every 4-6 weeks, add some fun activities, do what you enjoy more Try including one of the strategies above, and also don't feel bad if you do lose motivation for a while - start again, every time you restart your exercise program you will get better at staying motivated.

13.01.2022 Preparing our presentation for Seniors Week - 21 August. Not everything goes to plan the first time, especially when trying to film at home.

11.01.2022 My marketing mentor told me people are using Facebook and social media more than 70% because we're all being told to stay home. Most of our attituders use a laptop or computer, so here's some ideas I came up with to help you reduce neck pain from sitting too long.

10.01.2022 Shout out to our fantastic participants in this project. Proud to be a part of your journey. - Dr Shaz.

05.01.2022 Hi everyone, were excited to let you know our first product is going to hit the shelves soon. I'm busy testing our online shop, and we'll be posting soon when it is ready to go live.

02.01.2022 I've heard it's impossible! How do you fit 30 minutes of exercise into every day. I've put my idea in the comments below. I'd like to hear how you do it.
