22.01.2022 Mel is one of the National Youth Disability Summit Co-Design Committee who have designed the National Youth Disability Summit. Join us for a fun week learning new things, making new friends and hearing from great speakers by registering for the Summit here: https://www.cydayouth.events/ This is the first Summit of its type and is created by young people for young people with disability.... The Summit is 5 days from 29 September to 3 October 2020 and includes topics like education, mental health, access and inclusion. There will be lots of interactive workshops, panels of speakers and opportunities to catch up with old friends and make new friends. This is a safe space for young people and accessibility is super important so there will be lots of opportunities for participation and we will make sure you can fully participate!

Varsha is a 20-year-old student and social activist from Sydney, studying a BA of Politics, Philosophy and Economics at UNSW. She is currently a Youth Activist for Plan International Australia. Varsha is also part of the 2019 Young Social Pioneer cohort for the Foundation for Young Australians (FYA) social innovation incubator program, under the disability stream where she is working on tackling the stigma surrounding communication disabilities and speech impediments within education systems and the workforce. Varsha is passionate about the spaces where gender, literacy, disability advocacy and social innovation coincide.

Cindy (She/Her) is a passionate youth advocate, currently studying psychology and criminology at university.
