22.01.2022 Good Morning everyone We have exciting news Last September Janine and I were involved in filming a small section of our classes for a series on CBeebies called My Firsts... We have just received the email to say it goes live on Monday 12th April at 11.35 on The CBeebies channel if you would like to tune in and watch. I hope you enjoy it? 22.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who has messaged us about resuming classes. Please be aware that we are still closed until the worst of the pandemic is past. Also we do not have any waiting lists to join, we have an online booking link which will be shared when we have a potential date for reopening. I know this has been a tough time for us all and we are keen to get back to some normalcy but it’s still a little soon to be sure we have beaten the virus. Looking at the current state of Yorkshire and Humber Covid Numbers we made a good choice to suspend classes until a safer time. ... Thank you to those of you enjoying our online classes, it’s a pleasure to see you all. Most of all I thank you for staying home, not socialising, protecting our NHS and saving lives. These next 2 weeks are crucial, if we can lower transmission rates we may have a lovely Christmas but with numbers as they are it’s highly unlikely. I would really like to see us back in class in January, wouldn’t you? 17.01.2022 It’s Christmas Eve Eve I just wanted to wish you all the happiest of Christmas Holidays however you’re celebrating this year. I’ll be taking some time off so your messages may not be answered for a little while. But just so you’re all aware Booking for Next year has been suspended until things are clear about our potential reopening. ... Everyone who had paid for last term but chose to roll over payments have been automatically added to next years register. Online members are also added to next years register. Everyone else is added to our waiting list and will be contacted as soon as we can offer spaces. I suspect our return may be later in January than I had originally planned (11th January) but that looks unlikely now. 15.01.2022 My Very First On..... CBEEBIES Episode 15 Monday 12th April 11:35am ... Featuring My Baby Can Dance. HERE'S THE STORY Back in September 2020 My Baby Can Dance Ltd was contacted by the film & media production company associated with the program 'My Very First' screened on BBC CBEEBIES. The program follows a family who are doing a 'first' whether it's a visit to a garden Centre or something like this. This episode is my first baby group. This group is My Baby Can Dance. Although it doesn't follow our direct class session... The topic is following/copying. Something that we pride ourselves in is engagement factor! The program will be edited to show our East Yorkshire Leader Sam Owen-Smith delivering the session. The media company were impressed with our work and also very complimentary of the content. We have had to keep this under wraps until now due to BBC rules and regulations... So we can now reveal when the show will be aired. If you miss the episode you can also watch it on catch up via BBC iPlayer later. This was an amazing experience for everyone, very exciting too. The children were so good, because filming can be very stop start and repetitive to get the shots they want to build the episode. The filming was held in Brough East Yorkshire. Thank you to everyone involved!

15.01.2022 Good Morning everyone Just so you are all aware My Baby Can Dance Pontefract and Wakefield will be remaining closed until further notice. Emails will be sent out to all paid members for this term within the next week as I have to organise refunds with the online booking people. There will be an admin fee as there always is through Stripe this is yet to be confirmed. ... Please be patient with us as it’s not a quick process. I thank you once again for your continued support throughout a very tough year but it has become apparent that face to face classes are not going to be safe for me and my staff and all of our precious families. 14.01.2022 Reopening update We have been allowed to reopen in Ackworth on Thursday 24th September. We have 6 places available. Please go to our online booking page on the Book Now button to reserve your space. Please note that we will not be able to reimburse any sessions from before lockdown at this time. We will endeavour to return those sessions to you when we are allowed to have more children in the class. ... 09.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Good Evening to all our families After much deliberation between our team over the last few days, we have come to a decision to remain online for the last couple of weeks of term. ... For those of you who have supported our classes online in November we thank you so very much as we have been able to pay our staff this month and without your help this wouldn’t have been possible! There are many complicated reasons for this decision but essentially we just want to keep our families safe for the next few weeks, and I believe we are not out of the spike yet. We have debated all options and this appears to be the only situation that works for all our leaders. We think our classes would be served best returning to a full fresh start in the New Year. We are still providing 6 live sessions per week on Zoom and Facebook daily at 10 and 11am plus a live on Tuesday afternoon. If you have any requests please feel free to let us know. We are also trying to place some sessions on recorded(copyright allowing) for those of you who do miss your session along with full Spotify playlists to dance around your living room with. Called:- My Baby Can Dance Sam Newborn Can Dance My Baby Can Dance Sam Christmas. We hope you understand our decision and will continue to support our Zooms and Facebook Lives to help get us all into the Christmas festive spirit. There are no further guidelines from government for our sector to tell us whether or not face to face classes can run. ... This remains both confusing and without clarity for you and My Baby Can Dance Ltd at the present time. As soon as an update is received we will contact you to tell you what the next steps will be. In our industry we understand the dire need for our classes based on Education, health and wellbeing and mental health for families and children and our Covid Compliance is solidly in place.
