12.01.2022 Hi Tribe!!! This week is Spinal Health Week, highlighting good posture. Posture is the position in which we hold our bodies while standing, sitting or lying down. When our posture is poor this can increase pressure on our spine and contribute to tension, soreness, headaches. back pain and fatigue. Here are some tips to help you correct and maintain proper posture... Pay attention to the way you sit. Keep shoulders back and avoid hunching or slouching at your desk. When sitting for long period of time, be sure to take breaks by either walking or stretching. Practise correct lifting and carrying technique which includes keeping the object as close to your body as you can. When space permits bend at the knees to lessen the strain on your back.
