25.01.2022 Spring is in the air! A new season is here and with it comes change and growth. Embrace all Springs beauty and take in the fresh air. This weeks menu is now up, a little late this week due to the extra demands of home schooling, but I got it done.



24.01.2022 When friends drop over for a last minute Christmas drink! Pull out a batch of caramelised onion and goats cheese tarts! Order online and collect next week. Stock up the freezer for the festive season.

23.01.2022 Order for the school run! If your like me and making three lunch boxes a morning feels like a thankless task and don’t even get me started on what to put in them! Any who at least when I pop cookies on the menu I can make extra for my own school run. These are full of oats to give your kiddy’s long lasting energy. Order for next Tuesday Pick up. 21.01.2022 It wouldn’t be Christmas if I didn’t post my annual photo of my muslin wrapped Turkey! I’m still yet to find another method that creates such a succulent bird! I always stuff my Turkey with a traditional force meat stuffing, then wrap it up like a big present in muslin that’s been soaked in melted butter and herbs. I promise, the results are amazing!



21.01.2022 I hope everyone enjoyed their brisket this week! I am very fortunate to be able to source some of my fresh produce from my extremely clever friend and very passionate gardener Christoph. The beautiful coriander that made an appearance in your brisket was picked two hour prior to it going into your meal. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to be able to produce food this way. It makes me love even more what I do and the wonderful community in which we are all so fortunate to live.

21.01.2022 Just enough barley, greens and mushroom mixture left for a little free form tart. Add a little green salad a glass of Shiraz, and little candle light and my Friday night in is looking pretty dam good!

11.01.2022 Just a little follow up post on our beautiful baby Tawny Frog Mouth. After he blow out of his nest, a couple of frightened days and nights and one sneaky night I found him sleeping in our garage on a pile of rags, we managed to reunite him with Mum and Dad. They have since flown the coop, on to new adventures I dare say.

10.01.2022 Possibly one of my favourite things in the whole world, food wise, is a good Ruben sandwich! And it’s on fire at my house using the best dam mustard I’ve ever eaten from @hilbilbyculturedfood Their hot Australia mustard is the best I’ve ever tasted, topped with The classic Might Kraut from @belyhealth and my own wood fired corned beef. I’m trying to work out how to get these onto my menu, because I can eat these for lunch or dinner!

05.01.2022 Turning these beautiful beetroot leaves into a creamed Indian beetroot dish to accompany my little Indian feast. This is a great way to use up these fresh, luscious leaves and to put them to good use. The results was a delicious, creamy dish full of flavour and texture. A great way to use the entire plant. As for the beetroots, I will be roasting these up to go into a hearty salad.

I think I’ve only just recovered, but then I did start off with a Champagne Christmas breakfast at Point Roadnight. Here’s to making new traditions and honouring those who are no longer with us.
