24.01.2022 A snippet of what a fabulous week it has been in cake, culminating in our first trip back to Melbourne since March for the wedding of dear friends. Their wedding cake was beautiful as it was delicious and it was great to enjoy someone else's baking The first of the Christmas orders also left the kitchen this week. I love how central and important cake is in all our celebrations and I love being part of those celebrations through my baking for you. 13.01.2022 Kicked off the New Year today with these sufganiot or Jewish doughnuts made with a recipe from @mondaymorningcc. I usually make the more customary dough-ball doughnuts but this recipe looked so easy and straightforward with not too much proofing time, I had to try it! And it was so worth it! Light, fluffy, delicious, easy, quick! What more could you possibly wish for??... Hungarians usually make doughnuts at New Year's Eve it's been great to update the tradition with this new recipe.
