24.01.2022 Is your local community doing a "Spoonville"? Ours is rapidly growing, and I love it.

24.01.2022 Free Minibeast Downloadable To Do With Your Kids Wow, what a surreal experience we're ALL going through. Right now, you might be feeling HUGELY overwhelmed. We're feeling it too. ... Here is a freebie you can do with your little ones. I'll drop some more across the next few weeks. I'll also list extensions for the activities as well. No catch, just want to ease the mental load we've all got going on right now Extensions Look for minibeasts in your backyard. Create a minibeast hotel and see who checks in. Watch videos about minibeasts on YouTube. Got paper plates, egg cartons, coloured paper or paint? Make a minibeast spider or ladybug. What about a minibeast movement activity? Can you crawl like a spider, wiggle like a worm? Creative story writing, ‘if you were a ladybug for a day, what would you do?’ Can you make a minibeast inspired cake or afternoon tea? You’ve got this Mamas!

21.01.2022 If you had of told me two years ago that @catsanz would have been reviewing our travel diaries? I would not have believed you. We've had a girl crush on Cat for years. BRB, just blushing.

20.01.2022 To each and every client who recommends our travel diaries? Thank you! Word of mouth is what keeps us going. Grateful

18.01.2022 According to a survey, a lack of travel has made 48% of us feel more anxious and stressed 100% - I feel this deeply!

17.01.2022 Imagine a magic genie just dropped $10K in your bank account . What are you buying? Where are you going? Pic in maybe 2008?

17.01.2022 This is so cute! It's hard not to smile! This mother and mischievous baby wombat have been captured on camera at Crabtree near Hobart. : Taswildlife.com

16.01.2022 Running Out Of Ideas To Entertain The Kids?! Here's some Sunday inspo for you. #staycation

12.01.2022 Raise your hand if you’ve ever felt like giving up? Oh yeah, I’ve had those days too. Particularly of late. I don’t try to hide the fact that things are TOUGH at the moment. I lay awake at night and wonder if travel will ever resume. I wonder if the $30K we've currently poured into the business has just been a big waste of money? ... Should we just burn the travel diaries and be done? Dark, I know... But here’s what I do when it ALL gets too much....Sharing to give inspo in case you're feeling similar..... 1) Turn off the TV and leave my phone in another room 2) Make bread. Although I gained 10 kgs last round of isolation, so I'm now giving the sourdough to neighbours. This is too bringing me joy . 3) Go for a walk with a podcast, book or music in my ears. Current favourites are Kylie Camps and No Filter. Michelle Obama's comes out this week? I'm keen for that. Bookwise, I'm listening to Carlie Maree's Soul Modes. I also don't mind indulging in a bit of reality tv #escapism 4) Cuddle my dogs or cleanse my face and do a mask. What do you do when you feel like giving up? How do you turn things around? Get in a better headspace?

11.01.2022 Don't Take Our Word For It "The kids were so excited to receive the books, I've had to hide them, or they'll complete them before our holiday. They're awesome. Thank you". Lisa "The Australia books are a huge hit. It's 8 pm, and the kids don't want to stop!" Carlie. ... We hear this All. Of. The. Time, and it gives us such a buzz. We are so proud of what we have created. Travel Diaries that kids, parents and teachers all LOVE! Find out what everybody is raving about!

06.01.2022 Melbourne, I love you Just in case anyone forgets, this is what we are fighting for... To be able to wander across Princes Bridge in summer and watch a glorious sunset. ... To be able to see our loved ones whenever we want. To grab a drink with friends on the banks of the Yarra. To be able to see a mate, throw your arms around them and squeeze them tight. In the grand scheme of things, 42 days is a breeze. I would love to make a pact with all of you legends. A lot of us will be spending a lot of time online in the next 6 weeks. It is more important now than ever, that we remain positive for ourselves and our loved ones. Not just here, but anywhere else you go on social media. It’s never been more important. This is a time for spreading love and gratitude for what we have. Not for spreading negativity and hate for what we don’t have right now. We, the Humans in Melbourne and Victoria, truly are all in this together. We need to let this bind us rather than break us. Tough times build great people and just think of the stories you’ll have to tell in the years to come. I bloody love you all... 42 days...? We still got this legends. Now more than ever... #Melbourneiloveyou - Words + Image from Humans in Melbourne.

06.01.2022 How to Help Victorian Parents when you live interstate... Words from Lisa Cordoff Listen to her. Let her rage, tantrum or cry. She has feelings right now even though what’s coming out of her mouth is it doesn’t change all that much for me, I’ve got so much to be grateful for. Sometimes she might just want to bitch incessantly about twats she feels are responsible for this. It doesn’t need to be logical - just give her space to let it out!...Continue reading
