24.01.2022 Hang out in Central Park - check (complete with throwing snowballs!) See a broadway show - check! Get a tattoo in NYC - on my way!

23.01.2022 Being the nerdy trivia/scavenger hunt fan I am - Stray Boots rocks! Learnt so much about Boston & Chicago I wouldn't have found out about without it! Looking forward to doing some in Vegas! If you're in one of their cities - get on it! Even locals will learn a thing or 2!

22.01.2022 Pumped for my graff tour of Bushwick (Brooklyn) tomorrow!

22.01.2022 Just a lazy -1 degrees Celsius at 10am!

22.01.2022 Early night tonight after a successful weekend of drinking & being hungover! Off to Chinatown & downtown tomorrow, followed by degustation at Craft

21.01.2022 I could totally live in Queens. It's the US and China rolled into one. Anyone want to sponsor me for a job in Manhattan or close by?!? So I'm up bright and early (it's 5am Sunday morning here) to get the Amtrak to Boston. I've managed to get all of my luggage into 1 suitcase - it just happens to be a rather large new suitcase! Why do I always do this to myself at the start of trips? A couple of the highlights? ... Staying in the East Village & Queens, Snowing on St Pats & playing in the snow in Central Park, Annie on Broadway, Almond parfait @ Craft, finally getting my BTTF tat Still on my NY to do list? Coney Island - next time, I'm just going to book to stay out there for a few nights - and book my dates around when it's all actually open! Les Halles & Momofuku - I could've made it to Les Halles - but I was too busy celebrating with the Irish. Oh well. Momofuku - made it to Morimoto instead. And will just have to get to Momofuku in Sydney Stray Boots scavenger hunt - going to do this in Boston instead - decided I'd get more out of it there Psychic reading - this is just for a bit of fun because I saw a heap on my travels around EV. There appear to be heaps in Boston too so will check one out there Taken off my list incomplete? Make a muppet @ FAO Schwarz - the girl was rude, they'd sold out of blue bodies, and realistically, I'm trying to declutter my life - and a 33yo does not declutter by buying a bloody muppet! (That's not to say I won't buy one online & get it delivered!) New York, as always, you've been amazing! The food, the people, the sights - see ya next time!

21.01.2022 Challenge complete Man vs Food $100 worth of oysters (26) - quite a few of them were from fresh water areas, so weren't my cup of tea Much harder than I thought it would be!

19.01.2022 Just had the best Hawaiian pizza I have ever tasted. Probably because it didn't have tomato paste on it!

19.01.2022 After a fun filled week and a bit with shopping, getting 2 degrees from Kevin Bacon whilst becoming a ginge, lots of great food (in particular street food & diners), stalking Tom Collichio @ Craft NY, seeing the Knicks win, throwing snowballs in Central Park, admiring Anthony Warlow (aka Daddy Warbucks) again - this time on Broadway, a messy St Pats (is there any other?), new ink, filling my backpack and then some, over 800 photos, catching up with mates, hanging out in the East Village and Morimoto, I'm leaving the island and heading to Queens! I love you even more now NYC!

19.01.2022 Ice Skating in Central Park today! Followed by Annie tonight with Anthony Warlow! (PS - hope there's still some snow lying around in Central Park!)

18.01.2022 Great St Paddys day in the snow! Off for bacon, bacon and more bacon today!

17.01.2022 Sorry for the lack of updates, has been a busy week! Had 5 days in Chicago being shown around by a local and loved every minute of it. From brunch on arrival at Little Goat Diner (Top Chef outing#2 - amazing!), to the backdraft firehouse (no bras hanging off the hose, although I did save myself a mannequin), dinner at Masterchef winning Graeme Elliot & meeting "Steve" & Jesse on the bar set of Chicago Fire, my first day was action packed! The rest of the trip included a visi...t to the bean, a bike ride along the lake (which rocks by the way - looks like the ocean because you can't see the other side it's that huge), visit to a nerdy scienceworks type museum, ten pin bowling, lots of diners (I plan on opening one when I get home), an improv comedy show (hilarious), Easter lunch/dinner with 2 sides of Ed's family, My first hockey game, an awesome night out, ten pin bowling, finding a bar showing the AFL (although we lost to that team I won't name YET AGAIN) and Stray Boots scavenger hunt at Navy Pier. Chicago, I'll also be back! Will update you all soon on Phoenix & Vegas!

16.01.2022 Said new ink... Great Scott!

16.01.2022 A quick trip to Boston confirmed its a cool city I want to get back to! A walk around Boston Common, Yum Cha, Fenway Park tour (my highlight), couple of drinks at a supposed blues restaurant followed by an Irish pub, Stray Boots walking tour - scavenger hunt (pretty awesome - learnt heaps I wouldn't have otherwise - will do it in Chicago & Las Vegas), part of the freedom trail, lunch at America's oldest restaurant for oysters & chowder (Union Oyster House), Quick visit to Ha...rvard Law School, tour of MIT (I want to go to school there!) & the best 90 minute massage I've ever had. I'm now in Chicago after a 20 hour amtrak ride - had a sleeper room to myself, got to catch up on Dexter & had an amazing steak for dinner! Boston - I'll be back!

13.01.2022 My last post may have been 2 years ago, but that doesn't mean I haven't been anywhere, I've just been slack! I arrived in the US today for another visit, so what a better time than now to pick up where I left off. 24 hours of flying for 3.5 weeks in LA, San Diego, Chicago & New York. ... Stay tuned!

11.01.2022 Last day in Vegas and it's pouring rain & cold! I think a massage, haunted house, beer pong & more spending are on the cards (see what I did there?) The Beatles Love Cirque Du Solei was amazing! If it was on again this week I would've seen it twice! The next day we drove to Phoenix for the baseball. And by we, I mean I didn't let Nic drive at all because I was having so much fun. The baseball was great, and so was the hotel - only a couple of mins walk to the stadium. ... Have been back in Vegas since, and my days (& nights) have consisted of drinks (free for a couple of hours with a hot bartender @ Tao nightclub), gambling ($300 thanks to 3 card poker & the number 23 on roulette @ Margaretaville- love your work Buddy), rollercoasters & rides, a little more shopping, LOTS of buffets and just food in general, an amazing helicopter ride over Hoover damn, lake mead, the Grand Canyon (including lunch down in the canyon) & the strip, almost getting married (challenge failed, but wasn't for a lack of trying to find an open chapel at 8am that would do a wedding without a marriage license for under $200), hearing the sexiest accent ever (Oklahoma y'all), a very disappointing chippendales & hooters, and lots of sleep! Thanks a ton to Nic, Ed & Lesie for an awesome time - Ed, lets go nuts on our last night! Austin tomorrow for a Richieless Bon Jovi, followed by MORE food & celeb stalking on the Top Chef cruise - cant believe its almost over! Till next time Vegas

10.01.2022 Is like a kid at Christmas- it's snowing!!!

09.01.2022 Wi-Fi on the train! Oh the things Australia could learn...

02.01.2022 To be sure to be sure!

01.01.2022 Sneak peek of Central Park shots (note: I spent hours there so have hundreds to choose from to share later on!)
