I always feel inspired when I read an article like this and know that businesses are taking a positive approach and defining who they are through the cause they which to support. From now on, Chobani will be my yoghurt of choice.

STREAT was started in 2009 by Rebecca Scott & Kate Barrelle after they had worked at a similar social enterprise, KOTO, for 2 years. This enterprise offers disadvantaged youth aged 16-25 a supported pathway from the street to a sustainable livelihood by training them to work in hospitality and give them a way to earn, feel valued and support themselves.... 18.01.2022 For those of you who know me, will know the My Change Agent concept is still playing out and forming as we go. Every conversation is encouraging and there seems to be a need for a more meaningful approach to marketing. There also seems to be some awesome initiatives out there that need all the help they can get. In conversation this week, a client of mine who runs a suite of Psychology Clinics - NEXUS PSYCHOLOGY - mentioned they support the R U OK ? Day. Dory Kabillo shared ...how they liked to help create an awareness around this initiative. My suggestion was to encourage them to share their story through marketing collateral in their clinics all year round to keep the awareness for this cause front of mind. Next step is to help them with their design! Aligning with inspiring brands instantly helps improve perceptions; aligning with brands that sit well with your brand is even more powerful. Would this cause suit your brand? I thought I would share the below blog. It is apt this time of year, with Remembrance Day just passed.

Orange Sky Australia is the worlds first free mobile laundry service for people experiencing homeless an idea founded in a Brisbane garage by two 20-year-old mates. Each week, all over Australia, thousands of volunteers put other parts of their life aside for a few hours to positively connect with people doing it tough. Over the past three years, Orange Sky has completed over 760 tonnes of laundry and provided more than 5,200 showers to people in need. Most importantly though, volunteers have engaged in more than 110,000 hours of conversations, helping to positively connect communities across Australia. A few months ago, Danielle Chiel from Knit One Change One contacted me to help her spread the word about her inspiring initiative to help train, employ and empower women in Southern Rural India. I have just connected with Danielle and heard the fabulous news. She has successfully sold close to 1000 Christmas Baubles, and they have run out of wool! With more being shipped over, the production will continue and orders will be met by early next month.... A BIG THANK YOU to those who opted into the Change | Agent Christmas Campaign, helped spread the word and make this happen.
