17.01.2022 Who’s getting their little one ready for big school next year? It’s hard to believe this time last year I was getting our youngest, Willow ready for kindy. She looked so tiny. Now she’s reading, writing sentences and looking forward to Year One. Starting big school is really a big milestone for both parents and child. We are now taking orders for Kindy chalkboards. Different designs including unicorns, rainbows and butterflies.

Today I still call those adults I grew up with Mr and Mrs even though they’ve told me to call them by their first name. I’ve been calling them Mr and Mrs for over 25 years I can’t change now. ... We started preparing her a few weeks ago when this all happened that she probably wouldn’t be able to have a party. ... Now restrictions are easing I’m not sure. Would love to know what others are doing with upcoming kids birthdays?

09.01.2022 Who’s planning a party and getting ready for Christmas? I don’t think I would cope very well doing both. Our family birthdays are all done for the year but I often wonder how it would be to have a birthday in December or January. Do you get more presents, less or the same? If you are celebrating in the coming months make sure to order your chalkboard before we SHUT on Dec 18th. AusPost is taking a bite longer these days so allow yourself plenty of time when ordering.

08.01.2022 What family traditions have you carried on? We don’t have many traditions but one thing my mum did EVERY birthday was create a pretty birthday table. . She would decorate it with whatever she had, theme the colours and wrap each present individually and spread to around the table. ... . I loved waking up to the party table, even when I was in my early 20’s. . Now I do this every birthday for my girls. Tilly turned 9 today and this was her party table. Her favourite colour and latest craze - palms! I’d love to know what family tradition you have carried on? or maybe you’ve started a new one
