15.01.2022 Did you know this about the dog food industry in Australia? It’s unregulated! Which is seriously messed up. Ingredient sourcing, processing and even manufacturingit’s a wild west out there! More cutting corners than F1 which has lead to tragic recalls and loss of dogs. But it’s changing.... myCompanion is cleaning it up! Swipe for the human grade commercial kitchen course I took in the very first weeks of registering the company and hired some experts in restaurant health and safety to give us guidelines for food prep to cook your dog’s food (the same health and safety standards NASA usesyeah, THAT NASA .) Not because we had to, it cost $$$$ but because with food prep safety is the number 1 priority, and we’re going to be the best in Australia and show the big pet store corps how it should be done. Cleaning up this industry for goodquietly for now, but we’re going to make some noise - like that old hoover your dog loves so much Tip: Remembering to keep areas where your dog eats as clean as you do for yourself minimises any risk whilst being creative with fresh food.
