23.01.2022 ~Cultural Awareness Project Workshop 1~ Last night Billie shared with us her beautiful culture and traditions. We learned about totems, aboriginal dance, language, counting, games and ochre. It was such a fun workshop and we can't wait to share this with children and families.

23.01.2022 Cultural Awareness Workshop 2. Another amazing workshop with Billie. We participated in a smoking ceremony, indigenous dot painting, dance, weaving and tasted food with native indigenous ingredients. Our Educators have been deeply inspired by this workshop. Thank you Billie.

19.01.2022 We love to have fun on Outdoor Classroom Day! MCH Educators promoting learning and playing outdoors. Outdoor Classroom Day is a global movement celebrated twice a year. #OutdoorClassroomDay

13.01.2022 This term we are relaunching our Nature play @ MCH for our Kindergarten children. We will visit the local community in broadwater parklands and explore nature. Exploring nature benefits children's physical and mental wellbeing and development.

11.01.2022 ~National Simultaneous Reading Day~ Our preprep children were very excited when an astronaut from the space station read this years book "Give me some space". From Nursery to older children enjoyed participating in the reading experience. MCH participates in annual NSS to promote the love for reading books and support childrens literacy skills.
